either bad radio output or bad factory amp or speakers. take a test speaker and put it to the d3 rear leads to eliminate that and then take a wire and run it from the d3 to the rear speakers to eliminate that. in other words your testing the d3 output and then your testing the speakers. replace whatever is bad.

when u install your radio run the 3 pairs of rca's and the remote wire off the blue/white wire of pioneer deck to your amp. leave the outputs from the amp alone. you may have to re-tune your amps as well. just basically get rid of the lc6. pretty basic install.

as far as the sound problem goes, you need to call metra and get the info about an update that needs to be done they will give you the contact number and website for the guy. you then get the update cable hook it up to the pc and it will work. the unit not turning off means the acc wire is not shutting down properly. easiest is to connect it to the switched cig lighter. if your car doesnt have it then go to the ignition and use the pink/white ignition wire(its thin like 18 gauge)

if this helps i know in route options you can select avoid highways and tolls andavoid ferrys and all types of other things. maybe you can set up routes for it to avoid certain roads and get it to route around roads he cannot use.

you may have a can bus system which means illumination and swc may be data. a can harness and can swc adater along with the pacswips may be required. like he said go to pac and see about what interfaces you need for swc. use metra for your can harness if needed.

either unit. the pacswips works better its a wired connection to the radio. the other unit you have to place an ir sensor in view of the radio. you can make any button on your steering wheel do any option for the radio thats on the list.

in the metra dash kit for the nissan titan and pathfinder that you replace the whole bezel, it tells youhow to reset the airbag light without goin to the dealer

before you waste money, try upgrading the wiring between the battery and alternator, battery and ground. "hybrid" capacitors aren't a good way to go. use a regular 1-1.5 farad cap or 2 if you want to use a capacitor. don't add a second battery, that will only help when you play your system with the car off. think about it dimming lights are caused by low amperage. why add another piece of equiptment that takes amperage. all i had to do was get rid of the 8 gauge wire betwen my alternator and battery and battery and ground. i simply upgraded it to 4 gauge. i would recommend starting there.

you can program it to do whatever u want it does separate presets or station by programming it to do so best thing you can do is goto www.pac-audio.com and look at the application guide for your car

on pioneers when u disconnect the ipod, the unit turns off. make sure you have yellow to constant and red sto switched power

you can start by NOT watching a dvd while driving. pay attention to the road and cars around you. if you look for the d3 bypass in the search you will find it, but seriously dont do it if you want to watch a dvd while driving. you could hurt someone, thats why it has laws against doing that.

if the programmer does not hold the steering wheel button it can cause them not to work 100% properly. just have it reprogrammed and tell whoever is programming it to be patient with it.

there is 2 different wires in that cable. you need to separate them from each other. i'd recommend just buying a new antenna though.

i've had about 6 new gm's with a bad cell in the battery. i'd try swapping out the battery

never had a problem with my bosses upstage and the btb200 it does everything on all d3/btb200 battery life, signal strength, full phonebook transfer, voice dial.....everything never had a prob with it dropping either. my lg8700 sux like you wouldnt believe

yeah u just plug in the bt unit wire and secure it behind the dash....couldnt be easier what kind of car? it helps to tell u how to disassemble the dash

to expand on your sound quality you could add the deq-p8000for high volt output and wider control on eq bands. it retails for 450 and is well worth it to the person that is into sound performance.

its hard to shock the shit out of yourself with dc current

i have found that you can take off the underdash below the steering wheels and pull the harnesses for the radio through that side so there is less clutter behind the radio. also check for any plastic that might need to be cut out to fit the radio in the hole better.
