  1. Also make sure the pictures are on the root of the USB, or sd card your using.
  2. Yes no screensaver but you can change the background. Like Tekki said settings>background. If you want to change the bootup, you go to splash screen.
  3. make sure its properly grounded
  4. The 8000 doesn't come with a remote nor does it have a IR sensor for it. The only remote you'll be using for it is the steering controls. And yes you can dual zone, DVD, iPod video, ad card, USB except hdmi. Different plugs. As long as you have av cables (r/w/y) you'll be fine. Blur rays files are amazing on the 8000. Awesome.
  5. I could imagine the anticipation. I checked every hour. until it arrived. I said to myself that I would install it on the weekend. I couldnt. I work nights and sleep through the morning. But once I heard that doorbell. I was like kid in candy store. I stayed up and installed it. LOL
  6. KUDOS. But we dont know his personal reasons for getting the 5000. Were part of an elite group of the 8000's. I am glad to be a member
  7. Dual zone is for the REAR entertainment. You can listen to the radio and if the kids want to see something instead of listening to the radio. You can select a source to stream in the back and they can listen via headsets. HDMI is funky. It will mirror to the back of the screen. But all other sources will. YES there is AUTO EQ. You need a microphone to set it up.
  8. Your right. Its only on the 8000 & 7000. I just checked. Bummer.
  9. Make sure its probably connected. the 12v Battery + wire (yellow). I soldered all my connections to get it maximum flow.
  10. Dont worry. Someone will make a hack for it. Seems like AppRadio Extension doesnt work with iOS 7.1. Once it gets up and running you can mirror with touch
  11. Im assuming so Its the exact same model as the NEX. As for updating to Australia maps. Im not sure. Sorry. Maybe you can call Pioneer
  12. Same here. I live in Brooklyn and I work in the city. Works great and the 3D is very detailed.
  13. The radio is awesome. Havent used it in about 2 weeks. My car got hit and im still waiting for the insurance to send an adjuster. Its under investigation because it was a hit and run. I pulled out the radio. Since I got the radio I got the itch to buy a subwoofer box and amp. Just installed the mono amp today. gonna test out the sub tomorrow
  14. anytime. Let us know if it works
  15. European version. In the US it's called the Avic-8000NEX. In Europe it's called the avic-F90DAB
  16. Details haven't emerged on price. I'm assuming it will probably be between 60-100 per year
  17. This is for AVICSYNC app that will come out for the iphone and Android phones. This will give you live traffic updates, weather, fuel prices etc. when connected to your phone
  18. I think it will be released in the summer along with CarPlay
  19. It wont be HD while using RCA signal I think. But it still works fine
  20. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/StaticFiles/Manuals/Home/CD-IV202AV_OwnersManual020513.pdf
  21. When I get to work I'll draw you out a diagram
  22. Since the pioneer cable will occupy both the usb1 and rgb connection. The pioneer cable will be 2 cables on end and 1 VGA and USB port on one end. Then you plug the adapter and lightning cable to the adapter. And it should work
  23. http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25/111/241/AVIC-F60DAB/page.html I'm assuming this doesn't fall under the the UK version??
  24. The 5000nex doesn't have a hdmi port. So you will need to use the RGB connection in the back along with USB1 to get the app radio to work. The pioneer cable connects to usb1 and rgb (yellow) plug which then converts to a VGA port. Then you plug in your adapter to the VGA port.
  25. You can use the secondary camera feature to adds a second camera for your trailer. At least you'll have the option to click on the av source
