  1. Coolin72, did you ever get yours to work? I have the exact same problem.
  2. okay copied the original cardinfo to root SD but still no cigar... I think I have the exact same problem that coolin72 had yesterday. Going to give up for tonight...
  3. OKay I tried this on the 130BT with firmware v3.001 and was unsuccessful. Here is what I did: 1) copied the Condi Hackmode 1.4 and the RenewallFLib.dll into root SD card 2) insert that SD card to unit and Testmode came on (first time ever did this..woot!) 3) Copied the RenewallFlib to USER/PROG1/APL and PROG0/APL (got from Post #12). Have to delete the old one there first. 4) Ejected the Testmode SD and put in the SD with new 1.4 Shekara update files (which already unzipped using WinRAR in Windows, and copied the CardInfo to root which also got from post #12. 5) put in this SD car
  4. Are the RenewalIFLib.dll and CARDINFO.cif device specific? If not, can someone help package those two files for easier 130BT upgrade? I'm just not comfortable with testmode.. Actually don't know how to use it at all.
  5. Thanks for posting the crack. Test mode and all is a little over my head. Is it even possible to just combine all the needed files into a single source and install it?
  6. Thanks for the files Sheka. Wish someone can crack this and hack the start up navi menu screen to have it auto go away instead of hitting that stupid "OK" everytime.
  7. Installed the 130BT, hooked up the speed pulse and everything is working properly. I've had the unit for 6 months or so now... Still haven't update the 2012 map update yet, but with the original navi map comes with the 130BT, navigating is just stupid. It happened a couple times with me now (and I don't use navigation a lot unless it's a foreign address). I was going to another town about 1.5 hours away...there's only 1 freeway that goes there...and about 1/2 way, it told me to exit... I didn't exit and kept going since I knew the general direction and after a few minutes, the unit got i
  8. awesome...I can't crack it so I'm useless Hope some real talent will emerge.
  9. Sheka, Did you backed up this file before you installed it?
  10. Very cool. Let us know how the new map compared to the old ones.
  11. Back then there was no smart phones, no cheap $100 gps...so it's worth it to pour RD and make the best navi head unit. Nowadays, so many options, money is not there to go navi head unit.
  12. Hi guys, with all this hacking going on with the Pioneer unit, is it possible to hack the backed up binary to remove that stupid start up warning on the navi screen? That would be freaking awesome if someone can do it. It is so annoying to touch "OK" everytime the car is started.
  13. Stick the map only into the current 130bt firmware?
  14. It'd be cool if we can put the navTeq map onto the 130BT software.
  15. Want to trade? I have the 130 that I bought about 2 months ago (need it so couldn't wait). I'll trade you for the 140.
  16. we appreciate the video. Looks really cool.
  17. no it did not have a direct comparison..i tried to looked.
  18. Is there any diff in hardware between the 140 and 130 beside the software? If only software, I would assume when 140 upgrade is available, performing the upgrade would put the new map & other feature onto the 130 making it the same as the 140?
  19. I have the Z130BT too and I have this screen as well. No way around it...just have to hit that OK button everytime. My Lexus, the newer version did a way with this. There will be a warning screen but it goes away after like 5seconds or so automatically. I wish Pioneer employeed this strategy..unfortunately it's not going to happen....I heard even with new 140BH, there confirmation screen is also there. We need some genious to hack the software and remove that stupid screen..oh ..they're all into hacking the iPhone instead..
  20. I posted this question on the stolen forum but thought I would ask it here as well since it's more model specific. I noticed quite a few AVIC units are being stolen. But the 130BT/140BH (and others) do have the security passcode that you program into the unit. Theoretically, without this, the unit is not usable. If so, why the heck are thieves stealing them? Is there a way for them to retrieve our codes (a back door or forced boot trap way to get it)??? If so, how do we block them out (if that's even possible)??
