I own note 5 and is does not work with Appradio.Is does have mirrorlink but HU have version 1.0 not compatible with the phone version 1.1 is does work bit nothing show up after connected

Have anyone try the new phone with Appradio? Like note 5 and S6 Edge+, since the phone don't support MHL adapter anymore, i try MHL adapter but can't plug in. System: NEX7000 Old S4 AT&T running AppRadio Unchained Reloaded, HU setup Other/HDMI Appradio Mode, work just fine. New Note 5 AT&T running Mirrorlink, HU setup Other/USB Mirrorlink, HU detect and phone detect Mirrorlink but nothing show up on HU after is connected, phone is not accessable to any apps. Setup

Mirrorlink have never worked. I own NEX7000 I have using appradio mode and is work just fine via USB and HDMI setup, I recently switched my phone to Note 5 I try Mirrorlink and is working but nothing show up on the screen on HU.

anyone see android auto option in setting?

ARUnchained Reloaded don't need root to use, i have this on my AT&T S4 running lollipop 5.0.1 MirrorLink don't work no matter what you try.

yes you can turn it on when ever you want, is just like a sceensaver when you tough the screen it go away, and reverse take priority when you put in reverse.

i run backup light wire from tail light to HU violet/white wire. backup camera i have pioneer ND-BC6, i have RCA to go HU brown RCA, red wire go to HU red wire 12V on/off, black wire go to ground. now you can use Camera View turn it on in HU.

1. why do you need vss? MAP is very accurate without vss. 2. you need to hook up dual setup, 1. video turn on when you put in reverse 2. you can turn via Camera View on in HU

1. to control your phone from HU, u need MHL adapter+usb and appradio or rooted phone with AppRadio Unchained (old version free) not the one from PlayStore cost 30$ 2. to use Android Auto you only need USB and setup from HU selected Android Auto. 3. Mirror Link nothing more but a joke, is not working and never going to work, no app on the phone allow mirror link. i am using S4 att with root 5.0.1

1. dont hook up the VSS. 2. you can hookup the reverse wire under your dash if you can find the wire, the easy way is to tab it from the backup light and run the wire alone the door trim to HU, that how i did mine.

i don't to sound stupid but you do know the answer you seek, since you already have the radio in you hand, just compare the wires and hardness on both radio.

You using car play while doing this? if so Bluetooth is disable.

i start from HU it start and play only hear sound from HU when i start driving it stop, and video play on iphone, after it stop you can start again on the phone is work but video on the phone.

i try this and video play on your phone only audio on HU.

lol man, you spend all that money just toget tv on your HU, i don't think there is a way to "intergrate" it just think about it how many input is in the HU?

it seem to me you have problem either power or ground, where did you get power for the camera? I run power from the back of the tail light to HU wire, power camera is hook to HU key on wire.
