I downloaded the seed off the isohunt site about a month ago. I finally got some memorex dvd+r DL's and burned it. I tried burning it twice with no avail. I finally realized i needed to use magiciso and make a iso image. I tried burning it with nero but nero said it couldnt complete the burn, i then used the toshiba burn program which successfully burned it. I put it in my N3 and bam, everything programmed up and the maps work. Also before installing the 90mt my of 70 mt discs were messing up and it wouldnt finish calcuating the route. The new 90mt discs fixed that problem. But I wonder

heres the xm navtraffic and cd-rb20 mounted underneath the dash panel behind the passenger airbag, plenty of room. the brain could easily fit here but i had already installed it somewhere else and didnt want to move it. You can also see where i safety wired the unit itself to the brackets to make it theft resistant And finally heres how i made my rca and aux inputs easily accesible

well i took both of them apart, and they are the same board. I found theres some small tiny electronics and the plug is missing, but other than that they are the same.

i was just at circuit city and i had them check other stores in the area to see if they had any left. He told me the Circuit city in Columbia, SC still has one on display but they wont ship it to my store cause its an open box, so if anyone in that area wants one, go get it, its just a little too far for me.

your in new territory so your kinda on your own, but anytime you lengthen any cable there is always going to be signal loss of some time, usually this happens over pretty decent long runs, but i guess it could happen on this too being the signal isnt that strong to begin with.

i asked my guy about it and he said the new model is coming out so they are just blowing them out. i asked if the new one is any different and he said its just a newer package. I dont know what he is talking about since they didnt have one, he couldn't tell me what model it was and i havent seen one on pioneers website. Oh well good for us bad for them. He also told me that there cost on it was like 104 bucks or something, so taking a big hit. I do know the cost on the ipod adapter is 39 bucks.

yeah man, it seems that in mid late november circuit city puts their pioneer stuff on clearance, that needs to be remembered. Oh did they still have the old price on the display?? And did you buy any extras to sell????

Ok guys i have been using the navi for a week now and it seems to take me the long way to my destination. Tonight i was going home and it said it was 17 miles, i made a turn and after it recalibrated it was 6.1 miles, whats up with that, do i have a setting wrong or something, had it set to 1 route and shortest distance. Avoiding everything is off.

you could also find a cd-rb20 and use a 2.5mm jack to rca adapter like i used to use before i got my ipod adapter. i made up a 2.5 jack for mine so if a friend ets in with something other than an ipod, like a zune or whatever they can plug and we can play, that way your av inputs are stilll free to use in your playstation, xbox, laptop whatever you use it for.

I just went to Circuit city and i saw they have the gex-p10xmt on clearance for 34 bucks, I told the guy i would take it and and when he rang it up it came up 8 bucks they only hade the display so i got it for 6 bucks, i went to the other circuit city in town and they still had it for normal price 104 bucks on the tag but when he rang it up 8 bucks again, again only display unit so 6 bucks again, quick run out and get one if you dont have one.

no it wont affect your bypass, for the burning do a search there instructions here somewhere.

i dont think it has the right connector on the back to plug a n1,n2,n3 brain, it needs to have a 30 pins connector in the back that connects the two

Ok guys Circuit City is clearancing their Gex-p10xmt's for 7.96 My stores were sold out other than the displays but i picked them up on open box for 6.30 with tax. i got both they had around here, they just went on clearance any they dont even know about it yet, they still had the price as 104.99 so go pick em up and get your system going with navtraffic. P.S. I am going to sell my gex-p920xm and i got 2 p10xmt so i will sell they 2nd one, the only catch is it doesnt have the data cable, it does have the antenna, ip bus and power wires. your problem here will be finding a ribbon cable to extend the screen being farther away from the head unit, you can set it to not oopen and close so thats not a problem. if you want to do this you may just look into a d3 or something that does not have a flip out. anything is possible and someone has to try it the first time. my ipod is almost 2 years old now and it workds fine, the ipod will update to the most recent version when you put songs on it, or it will ask you if you want to upgrade, if you buy any of the newer ipods it will work, if you dont already have an ipod this is nothing to worry about, if you ipod is more than 3 years old then do some looking into this.

has anyone ever taken apart their p920 unit to see if the only thing missingbetween these two is the connector, i was thinking tonight that alot of times companies just dont include a connector but its the same inside, just wondering if you could "upgrade" a p920xm unit. probably not in this case but figured maybe some has taken one apart. i would check mine but it take about 30 mins to get out. I looked for some schematics online but found nothing.

It shouldnt matter, mine goes to ipod, then xm, then aux and everything works fine.

if your brain is nowhere nere your controls for heat and blinkers then you have an unrelated problem, unless you ran some new wirirng, or pulled on some wiring.

WTF!!!! Ok heres another one. I have the illumination wire hooked up correctly and even tested itat the harness and it reads 12v when the lights are on, 0v when lights are off. However i do not notice any difference when i change my light switch. I do notice a difference regaurdless of light switch when i cover the light sensor on the flip up screen. if i cover it, it dims down to the lowest setting and if i let light in it goes up to the brightest setting. Now my question to you is what the hell is going on. I got the sub dimmer thing turned on, is there anything else i need to do, thi

i had a similar problem in my wifes car last month, put the radio in and the heat stopped working, eventually i found that when i ran the wiring, i accidently knocked the cable that controls the heater loose, clipped it back in place and everything was fine. Like the previous guy said the blinkers and heat are totally different sysytems and do not interact with each other except as far as getting power. I would double check where you routed your wiring and see if you knocked something loose. The blinkers use a relay somewhere under your dash and its possibly knocked loose.
