so i am a little confused... i ordered the x8500bhs last night to replace my stolen z130bt, i also ordered the cd-ih202. does it look like i actually dont need the cable to make the iphone 5 work witht he unit? Also has anyone every used the add on navigation unit with a dvd unit?

I picked up z130bt 2 months ago because i wasn't sure when the z140bh would be out and i figured i would eventually just upgrade it. Now it looks like a lot of people are disappointed in the voice command changes, and some people are looking to switch back to the 130. for those of you that have gone from the 130 to 140, was it worth it? do you regret it?

bigger question is how long before we can upgrade the 130bt

i installed my z130bt last night in an 11 wrx. everything works except for 2 things. 1. bypass. i moved the mute wire up 1 to the correct position and then wired that to the green VSS wire and the ground black wire from the pioneer harness. then from there the subaru harness is attached and the rest of the wire has an open hook that is attached to the left side of the stereo chasis. what did i wrong? 2. illumination. i wired the orange/white stripe to the orange wire, when i switch the headlights on and off the unit does not dim or brighten. but the screen that shows the Illumin

ok so it is as i suspected, from the feedback it looks like it is still a bit half baked but not bad for the money. i think i may give it a try and see

I previously had a z110bt(updated to 120) which i enjoyed( though the maps left alot to be desired) i traded in the car and now have a stock subaru deck in my WRX. im looking to get navigation back and looking for some input, I love the idea of the appradio but i have read alot of negative things about it. for those of you using it daily, would you recommend it? what do you love? hate?

i connected the orange with white stripe labeled as ILL from the pioneer harness to the same color on my subaru harness. is there any reason why this wouldnt dim?

just grabbed one off ebay that is 3 months old! so stoked paid $720 all the original cables, ipod cable, and already bypassed!

no matter how place the picture i want to use on the SD card the unit keeps telling me there is no Pictures folder. i have tried putting a folder on the card in the following ways Pictures PICTURES PICTURE Picture it still tells me there is no Pictures folder, am i doing something wrong? the card is formatted as Mac OSX.

hmm i don't have the HD radio portion so i don't think that's the issue, my problem is i cant even get it to connect to get my serial number to activate the service.

i have an avic x910bt and MSN direct doesnt work in the least bit. from the msn page on the unit the antenna is completely grayed out and is receiving no signal. from the directions it says i should go to status and when i do so i just get a black box saying "connection to MSN direct" which never changes. i contacted MSN and they said i have to contact my installer, but i installed it so thats not going to work. it is my understanding that the antenna is the ipod cable coming from the back of the unit or somthing similar? my gps antenna is on the right hand side of the windshi

why is it the lowest and highest end units work with this but not the mid range? this would be great for the mid range x and f series

so from what i have read i did the hard bypass correctly on my x910bt (from what i understand it is the same bypassing as the f series), yet i get locked out above the 10mph mark. i understand there is a software fix for this but i really don't want to mess with that, so here is where i am confused. i moved the mute wire to its new location and grounded that along with PB wire, yet when i hit 10 MPH the unit tells me that is has detected the ground wire is not correct. did i do the ground incorrectly? if so then why am i able to watch video without the parking break engaged? is it
