  1. Mine is working the same as yours. Tacoma, WA
  2. I noticed something weird the other day, after driving awhile (usually about 2 hours) my XM module un-attached itself from my Z110BT. Basically grays out the selection. If you restart the unit (restart the car), the XM will be there and then about 2 hours later, it disappears again. It has done this three times in the past 2 days. Before that, no problems whatsoever, even with trips over 8 hours. Anyone else experiencing this?
  3. Do you get more info on the screen when you go this route? I have the old Sirius adapter for the D3 and it only showed one line of trunicated text. I was more concerned as to if you get Artist and Song on the map screen.
  4. Thanks for the reply VBLUE42. I guess I should stop drinking Bud Light while driving and using my Z110BT.
  5. I noticed today that when I insert or remove an SD card, the unit is prompting me that a restart is required. Anyone else getting this message? INSERT: You put in the SD Card close the cover and it will restart. REMOVE: It will indicate that a restart is required and that the screen will open upon restart.
  6. VBLUE42, Thanks for posting that video. On the sensor, does that have to be in plain sight of the remote or can that be stashed behind the dash?
  7. Hey VBLUE42, are you still planning a video on how the SR-1 works for those of us interested in seeing the performance? Thanks.
  8. Thanks for letting us know. Its better than nothing and based on that I plan on purchasing the same setup.

    Z110BT Bypass

The video might be the easiest. I just ordered another harness, although my pin removal, although difficult, was a success, I am getting intermittent connections due to the damage to the pin in the removal. Once I get this new harness I will be doing the bypass again by the instructions in the video.
  10. Wow! Did not know that. Thanks for pointing that out.
  11. Today the FM /AM logos decided to go gray and are no longer selectable. Any idea what could cause this? Thanks...
  12. I installed my 110 last night and it works awesome. I lost my manual (laid it down someplace) and so I cannot figure out how to remove the red direction line when using the navigation. Anybody can to tell me how to remove that? Thanks.
  13. Could be they have a fix already, but are waiting to premiere new updates until the Pioneer Road Show.

    Z110BT Bypass

Under the plug are three "plates". You need to lift the one that holds the mute wire up so it is up about 1/8" of an inch, that will release the grip on the pin, you do that by using a pin or small pick. Then with a thumb tack, insert it on the plug side of the one that has the mute wire in it. Be careful that you do not stretch the pin, like I did. I forced the tack into the pin and made it wider. Once I got it popped out, I repaired the pin and put it in its new location. I almost ordered a new one from pioneer as well.

    Z110BT Bypass

Sorry for the requested preschool walk-through. I figured out the plate, and I lifted that, it came up about 1/16" of an inch. Is that high enough? It doesn't want to go up any further. The pin still doesn't want to release, when you push a pin in the other other end and gently tug on the wire. Once again apologies to the readers, I don't want to f*** up a $1000 purchase if you catch my drift.
  17. I just received my Z110BT and about to do the bypass, but I am bit confused on the removing the pin part. This one is trickier than the F series one I did. I followed the instructions on the bypass, but I cannot get the pin to release and fear I am doing it wrong. I don't want to damage my harness. So what is the trick to removing them? I put a pin in the bottom hole (two very small holes are visible on each row on the plug in side) and I feel like I am just destroying the plug. Is this right? Mod Edit 01-14-2010:For those of you that are having a hard time removing the mute wi
  18. http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/pioneeravic-z110bt.aspx Here is that same price with a 3 year warranty!
  19. I had this too. I search for a restaurant in Redmond, WA and I had the name, but it gave me a list of stuff without that search criteria as far away as Los Angeles. I finally gave up and used Google-411 and got the address and manually put it in.
  20. I think I got my mysterious two-tone chirps to stop. Turn off the Lane Warning sound in the Sounds Setting.
  21. I am getting a two-tone sound as well for no reason, but it happens where the turn restriction were showing up. This happens when I am navigating or not. I have the turn restriction currently turned off.
  22. To delete a camera click on the camera itself on the map. Go to the POI icon in the menu and one of the options will be edit cam. From there you can delete it. Do the same to add one. Either click on the menu and select the POI icon and add it from the current GPS location or click on the map and then select the POI icon in the menu. Hope this helps. Thanks, I will try that.
  23. I installed this today and was overwhelmed with speed cameras along I-5 in Washington state. The speed camera file has all the DOT traffic cams listed as speed cameras. How do you delete a camera? How about adding a new one? I tried a bunch of stuff and the only way I found to add a camera is on the speed screen. Thanks for helping me out on this.
