  1. I would not expect it at all, there's no real reason to release the firmware for ANY of their products, patents nonewithstanding.
  2. My 07 Silverado has onstar and the mute wire was NOT being utilized by the Scorsche harness...Bypassed and Onstar still mutes the radio when activated.
  3. The idiots at my local best buy didn't do the reverse or illumination (he did try it but couldn't get it to work so I told him after 45 minutes move the hell on), and my VSS is not working. To make matters worse, I can't find the damn work order anymore so I can't make em fix it til I find that stupid paper.
  4. If you're talking about that front stereo input on the face of the unit, that's audio only from what I understand of it.
  5. The front input is meant for other brands of MP3 players mainly...You could hook up a game console to the AV inputs (I think the ones behind the deck control the video though).
  6. I did encounter a problem with mine, turns out the stupid accessory plug started coming out...It's a tight fit behind my deck so I must've knocked it loose before, took everything apart a min ago and reinserted the plug, then carefully reinserted the deck...So far so good.
  7. You were supposed to move the mute wire up on the harness...Also the parking brake wire should not be connected to the metra harness, it should be going straight to ground. Reread all the bypass threads.
  8. You need both it looks like, the first link is a wiring harness to hook up to your factory connections (to retain the plugs so you can return it to stock if needed) and the second one is for the steering wheel controls.
  9. The Pioneer model does have some parking assist thing so the box is probably the processor.
  10. Yeah, just gonna have to find some time to put it in for a bit. The place is right around from where I live so I could probably get a ride back...I installed an XM tuner after they did the work but I didn't touch any of their connections, just plugged in the IP-BUS data cable and tapped the cig lighter's 12v power.
  11. Probably should, I did pay 155 bucks to get it installed, and it has a lifetime worksmanship warranty.
  12. Have not tried either...My buddy likes the full remote but I may go SR11 myself cause all I need is play, pause, volume up/down.
  13. Err, sorry about the size of the photo, forgot my camera was set to max (4 mp).
