Jeep Compass in the mud.

You are also assuming the installer doesn't know about the bypass. Most installers are aware of what is needed to bypass these units and know what wires are suppose to go where. If you take a harness in and tell them not to mess with the wires, I am sure they are not complete idiots. If they were I wouldn't want them installing anything in my car. Talk to the installer, most of them are pretty cool about things like this. They might even leave the wires in an easy to get to place and you have to do is connect them together.

VSS issue FINALLY resolved......BOO Circuit City
watchcrazy replied to tommy_the_revelator's topic in General
All Circuit City's are not the same .... The one in Roseville, CA has some great installers. Here is the work they did on my 2007 Camry, and I am completely satisfied. I have been around car audio for many years and can tell you just as many scary stories about the smaller shops. I guess my point .... Not all Circuit City's are the same. -
would you let Circuit City do free install your new Z2 nav?

This Breitling wrist watch is almost big enough ... it is 48.7mm diameter and it is big and heavy Just take it off the bracelet. Sorry don't know of any
-
Just a logo from the Breitling (watch manufacturer) website a while back. I collect watches so I thought this would be cool to have on the background of my AVIC

I have both XM & Sirius in my '06 Passat and I want to use the factory pod on the car. One lead works for both XM & Sirius. Is it possible to use a splitter on the antenna so I don't have to have a second antenna on the car? I think Terk sells one ... I just wonder if it would work???

Nav Traffic not accurate
watchcrazy replied to TestForEcho's topic in XM/Sirius/HD Radio and Traffic Receivers
Kinda funny and sad in a way because the local radio stations in Sacramento must get their info from the same source. I'll be driving and they will report an accident with 2 lanes blocked and I will be in the exact spot they are reporting it and there is nothing at all around. I think they all get their data from the Highway Patrol and news feeds probably. -
It is a B6 ... uses the 2005 kit (the one for the Jetta) on crutchfield. I didn't like the look of the plastic so I put bondo over it sanded the hell out of it and painted it a flat black. So worth the effort :)

Easier way to search for songs on iPod - my little trick
watchcrazy replied to watchcrazy's topic in General
Why did you use Genres instead of Smart Playlists? You can make those 27 smart playlists (using Artist Name -> Starts With -> A,B,C,etc.) in about two minutes. May save people some time if they want to have a similar search option.
and isn't this a feature of iTunes? I don't use iTunes :( -
and see what happens.

When someone calls me they get an echo of their voice when they talk. Is there anything I can do to eliminate this? I have turn the volume down on their voice, but then I can't hear them ......
