  1. Agreed with Dianebrat, but don't button everything up until you test it first, since we don't know 100%.
  2. ScottyP does have a point, S4. If they're very vague with their request, which you are right about the requests always being non-descriptive, then they can only blame themselves if they don't like the result. And ScottyP, even though not many Jeep requests are fulfilled, creating a new thread for a vehicle specific background when there are already 2 big threads for that is not really needed.
  3. Yes, that pinkish color represents a transparent color. Can't tell ya if that will work on all the images though.
  4. Sorry for the noobishness but as i've stated in the past, I am not very computer tech savvy...but what exactly does EZRIDER.exe do? I know it's an executable file and it's connected to the warning screen, but what about rewriting an ezrider.exe but excluding the warning screen coding? And is it possible that there is maybe a hidden file that brings up the warning screen? It seems from reading these posts that every time a file is deleted it results in the unit crashing upon pressing map, but what if those are completely irrelevant files to what you're really looking for?
  5. The cover is still closable. Whether the unit has to be set back a bit or not is beyond me, but I've seen pictures of it done.

  7. Ugh Sony's way too confusing. Get the Wii!! lol
  8. Ugh.. How many CC's closed down? Was it 150 or around that number? Now how many BB's closed down? You can say it was the top management's greed that brought the franchise to its knees, but in the end, it comes down to the employees. The employess are the ones who have to know, and sell the product to the customer. Had there been better customer service and less idiots being hired (Please know that I am not stereotyping current and former CC employees as idiots) the company would still have a leg to stand on. Don't misunderstand, I think it's horrible that all those workers lost their
  9. C'MON!!! Wear a helmet I do have to ask though, why even bother with PS2 if you have PS3? PS3 plays PS2 games.
  10. If someone can't find the most popular topic of this board, do you really trust them behind the wheel?
  11. I'm sure you can zoom back in if you did that on purpose, but this one automatically zoomed back out if you zoomed it in. And it was in 3D, not 2D. I just thought it was weird that it was stuck that way.
  12. I'm still stuck on "playstation in a moving vehicle?" but what about using the front input? Would you rather an X Box?
  13. He's in Europe? I didn't see where it said that. Anyways, idk if that would matter or not, this is actually a common problem amongst first-timers going into testmode. Every time, calibrating the screen and pressing X was the answer.
  14. The other night I went to Best Buy with a friend of mine to pick him up a wiring harness for his car (my job was closed already) and while we were waiting for someone to help us, we were fiddling with the 700 they had on display. I walked away to pick up a blu-ray, and when I got back, the screen looked like this: I asked him what he did, but he had no idea, and the map wouldn't zoom back in. Pressing up on the knob, scrolling with th zoom bar, pressing map, nothing worked. 2D worked fine but this is what the 3D looked like. You were also able to move the world around by sliding your
  15. calibrate your screen and press the top right x and it finishes copying.
  16. Splitters theoretically will work but i remember reading in a thread that splitters did not work. I could be wrong, but I'd dig deep in the hacks/mods section to get the right answer.
  17. I have to admit, that is a very good analogy, Jason.
  18. Oh no, not the BB CC debate again
  19. You can find the manual at Pioneerelectronics.com, and the unit now comes with the manual on a disc.
  20. OK, the first thing I would attempt is a reset. If that doen't fix it, I'd go with N-S-E-W's method. If that doesn't do it, the unit may have to be sent in.
  21. Which one is displaying the correct time? Did you change the time setting in Navi settings? and have you tried a reset? Also do you have the 2.0 update?
  22. Really!? Then what the hell is V!? I can't keep up with these electronic thing-a-majigs As for the clock issue, are you saying they are reading 2 completely different times??
  23. What vehicle? I'd double check the amp trigger wire, blue/white.
