so does the gex-20hd still cut audio out from analog to digital every 30 seconds? my gex-10hd does and i cant keep the setting on digital bc its very annoying. the only reason why i have it hooded up is because i get station information on it. pioneer is a load of crap. as expensive as they are trying to sell the units ($1200 retail) they should put out a fw update to enable itunes tagging! what the hell are they thinking??? i really like the unit but cmon pioneer, get your act together!

i hope the new software is able to be uploaded on the f series... if this is all true

i have the avic 90bt and currently using the gex p10hd and i cant stand how it cuts in and out. i too live in chicago (joliet to be exact) and 99.5 101.1 they both cut in and out constantly! its very annoying. it bothers me so much that i have the digital turned off all the time. im hoping maybe the new gex20hd will be better, but im not sure how much of a difference itll make. i heard that it only allows you to do the itunes tagging off the radio. once the new gex 20hd comes out, im goin to give it a try (buying it from best buy possibly and if its the same as the gex10hd, then ill retu

i didnt do any modifications (except for fw 2) and i have received the message too, about 2 weeks ago. Thus far, i only got the error message once since Aug. sorry for the quality, it was my camera on my phone.

Is your harness connections loose? You say its fine when your not moving, so maybe when you do start driving a ground wire or power wire looses its connection.

My sub woofer pops every turn on the volume knob. Every clicking twist on the knob, the woofer makes a faint pop. Does ne one else's do that.

I found that this was the best placement for the mic

well the unit takes a good minute and a half to turn on before you can do anything with it. once its on tho, the navigation is completely functional and the gps resumes where every you turned off your car. so yea it keeps a lock on the satellites but the unit takes a minute and a half to fully be functional.

yea one of them is to attach your radio antenna to the unit and the other is to connect the two wiring harness for the f90bt and you automobile

So after viewing all the threads about hacking the F series, would it be possible to figure out how to make the RDS display on two lines in the HD radio screen? The info that the F series displays is limited and cuts off words. Maybe have info displayed a bit more cleanly on the interface.

You cannot re use your harness for your Pioneer HU that you have now, you will have to re due the F series harness with your trucks aftermarket harness.
