i would use alcohol 120 i have never had a problem burning the nav dvd's with it..use the lowest burn setting and all should be good make sure they are good dual layer dvd.. i use memorex alway work

i had the same problem with gex 10 and i turned out to be a bad cable out of the box replaced it wuth another one i had around and works great now

you could down load them do a internet search for new disk and burn then your self

So everybody that has a D3 must have a shity install right..almost everybody that post about this problem only seem to have D3..I can see why he is bitter about it..Just like people with D1 have problem with the face stop opening..mine is well out of warranty but i still sent it for repairs cause the new stuff they are building in my eye is crap..sure they have firm ware updates but great none of the other decks need that..oh sorry the Z's do..

personally i wouldnt even do that its not a real fix its a patch i know the units a expensive but i would send it for repairs dont have to use pioneer many places repair the units for well under 200$..but if u search the fourm u will see that alot of people have this problem.. i'd say it something that pionner should fix for free like the flex cables

this may sound dumb but did u hook up the power and ground to the xm casue it says not to but u have to unless u have z series i beleave same thing happend with my xm and ipod

you probally dont want to use glue cause u will never be able to take the connector off the unit again.. or when the glue hardens wil not be able to plug it in..if u have a multi meter then do a resistance check on each end of the plug to see if u have broken or high resistance in the wire each should read the same

i had the same thing weh i put the xm in my car turned out to be a bad cable from the box..i had a tv tuner that i wasnt using anymore used that cord and all is well..have poping noise speakers sound like they are shifting sounds just sounded like shit..but all is well now..

you'll need to have a route in memory..ie programe route take disk out and put mp3 disk in..

Have you tried doing a reset with the new disk loaded.if not i can supply you with a n1 disk

ok i found it in oakville..i need to know some info on the car..u will need antenna adpter, double din kit, and radio harness..Need to know if u have a coupe or sedan, engine size and does it have a up graded radio, and does it have bose or fosgate system? I can pick this syuff up for you but she says it will be over a 100$ sounds kidda high if u ask me but..if u need it you need it
