Id pretty much bricked my avic so it was a long winded way i had to do mine. I updated the wince manually then used avic weo's apl2 & the rest from the update above. that left me with turkish and portuguese only so used tomolas apl2 and copied over the apl2 i had and now it seems to be fine.

I had the same issue with the turkish and portuguese. I copied over a new apl2 from Tomola and that worked im now running 3.01 and the 2009.06 maps with no problems (so far)

Well ive just got to the root of my problems and its all sorted now. My problem was using OS X and more likely the fact that ive upgraded to snow leopard. I had managed to update the unit using leopard before but i had a eureka moment and started again from scratch, downloaded all the files again and used a windows laptop and 7zip and its worked spot on and im now using the 2009.06 maps. Not sure if that will help anyone else but i thought id post it.

Sounds like were having the same problems, ive tried re-flashing the whole thing and that doesnt seem to make a difference at all. If you have any joy can you post what you did and i'll do likewise please

Ok so ive tried everything i can think of and everything i can find on this forum. I can get into testmode with no problem, i can boot the satnav from within test mode and it seems to be ok i just cant get it to boot up properly at all. Someone must have some idea of what to do or try next ??????

After udating my F900Bt EU im having the same problem, it boots to a black screen and i can here the fan spinning but thats it. Trying the format and recopy the flash disk at the moment, does anyone have any other ideas?

Ive just been out and checked again and its not actually switching off. The fan is still spinning and all the lights go off and none of the button work. Ive gone into test mode and deleted all the gpspara files mentioned in the black screen fix but that doesnt seem to help.

Hi I need a bid of help please. I updated wince following the guide on here (format option) with the latest from pioneer uk f910 update and that went with no problems. I used the apl folder from the f910 update and the apl2 from avic-weo ive replaced the ezrider with the hacked one and added the generic world licence When the unto starts up i get the pioneer splash screen for maybe 20-30 secs then it switches off. I can get into windows using test mode, one thing id di notice that under device properties it is listed as F700? Any help would be really appreciated as

Ive managed the update to 3.0003, the unit is running really well. Can i update to 3.001? the only problem im having is changing the maps to the 2009 ones, it boots up then locks up? im using the hacked ezrider and the generic igo licence files. any thoughts?

So does this mean that potentially a UK F900BT could have voice activation or is that to do with hardware? PS read your disclaimer Stephanie for all the work you ve done your welcome to crash at my pad if your ever in the UK

Between this and the onscreen text colour/map colour (which is being worked on i beleive) its my biggest annoyance. Id be well happy if it had speed dependant volume. They put it on the Nav Voice why not the radio????

Hi My AVIC crashes when i try and search for an address by street name. I start by selecting city and thats fine but when i touch street name it re-boots the unit. I flashed it with the latest update, is it worth doing it again (or can you?) to see if there is a corrupt file? Cheers

Hiya My AVIC doesnt adjust the AV sound eg radio, ipod etc when i speed up and slow down? it adjusts the nav voice though. is there a setting for it to do this? does it need the speed sensor wire connected and if so does anyone know which one to connect to on a renault megane? is there anyway to have the nav voice come through the front speakers while the AV source continues through the rear speakers? cheers

Decided to have a try today on the way to work, my avic plays movies via usb with out tthe bypass trick. the only thing ive done is ground the parking brake wire. Is that alright or is there a fault? I also dont have the speed sensor wire connected as i dont know where to connect it on a renault megane. Cheers

The speed shown is the speed the camera is set at, i think when it says 0 thats mobile camera's (well it was between dundee and dyce today anyway)

yeah its really quiet eh, ive also noticed it doesnt show average speed camera's either (or none ive been past today) i wonder if we could use a different speed camera database? i noticed about the o mph thing as well and was wondering, ill need to have a play with that i think. i noticed the radio volume doesnt go up and down with the speed but the navi one does is there a setting for that or would i need to connect the speed sensor wire for that to work? cheers

Hiya Is there a way to make the speed camera warnings louder? or have a verbal warning etc. The beeps are really quiet you lamost dont notice it. Cheers

Go to the AV config menu and set AV1 to Ipod. Took me a few minutes to figure that out. nice one cheers mate!!

my 3g iphone is recognised on my f900bt it starts playing but i dont get any sound through the speakers with a normal ipod cable. i get album art etc through it just no sound any idea's? cheers
