  1. I'd say learning English would be a great first step...
  2. It is a standard SQLite file, so pretty easy to figure out...
  3. Unless there are some new countries appearing, or continents suddenly rearranging themselves, 2007 basemap is perfectly fine.
  4. This is defined in color scheme files (ZIP archives in the SCHEME folder).
  5. Check out mods available in the Completed mods subfolder. There's also a thread about getting AVIC to work with Gurjon skin as well.
  6. You'll need to get into testmode. Firmware updates do not work with modified files. The first one... probably some internal measures NNG uses. On the second one, I'd think it would be Km/h:meters from the look of it. Also, some of the mods you could install let you specify a hardwired warning distance.

    New Schemes

I am NOT going to pay to upload my mods. I dont mind sharing, I do not take donations like the others do to compensate for these services because that will take the fun out of modding, I refuse to pay to share my mods, and the cost is not cheap for megaupload and Rapidshare Try 4Shared, that's where I put Stanislavovoch/Andr2000's mods, and it's free.
  8. In SYS.TXT you coulkd try adding/testing these entries in the [warning] section: approach_beep_distances="8,16,24" ;("8,16,24") warn_distances="120:600,100:400,80:300,50:100" ;("110:1000,80:800,60:500,40:300") speed:distance Second one is probably better because it defines a curve that warns you earlier when you drive faster, and later when you drive slower.
  9. Just put an uncompressed pioneer.ini file into project_config subfolder of iGO's main folder and don't worry about zipping it.
  10. Well Boris, I need the GPS signal to be able to enable the planned routed. Any way to simulated there is GPS signal in the Emulator? Can I force to start the routing at a fixed location (i.e. fixed Lat/Long position)? Depends on which skin you're running, but pretty much any of them will let you set a start location. Then select any point as destination and do a simulate or flyover. That should show all the planned route colors.
  11. Sure, that's how I was testing building and street label visibility settings -- make a bunch of different schemes, and load them in the emulator.
  12. As I understand (might be mistaken, of course), if the outside file has only a subset of settings, only those will override settings in a zipped file. I.e, I know this works for clip_planes.ini: there is an (optional) clip_planes setting in color.ini (or color3d.ini since it is specific to 3D map mode). That's why different color schemes give you different visibility of 3D buildings, from barely visibly (Pioneer's default scheme, or most schemes without a clip_planes section) to somewhat visible to cover your route visible. But if you extract clip_planes settings you like and put them in a
  13. Actually it can. If there is an unzipped file in a correct location, settings there override same settings in a currently selected ZIP file. THat's how I have pioneer.ini sitting outside so I don't need to worry about a DATA.ZIP having a software bypass applied. There's the clip_planes.ini that overrides individual color scheme's settings, etc. As an experiment, I'd try removing those colorXXX.ini files and checking if schemes work after that or not.
  14. I think that you have totally misunderstood what I was saying. eg. There was a scheme that I was trying to change in that it was an AWESOME 3D scheme that raised bridges and elevated roads. However, in town, all roads were white and the landscape was off-white which ruined the entire scheme. I went in to the color.ini and changed EVERY white and off white color in there ( yeah, there was a lot of them) and changed them to green and off-green. When I replaced the scheme with my altered one, there was NO DIFFERENCE. NO colour has changed in the sceme, and technically, there should have been abso
  15. There is absolutely nothing (interesting) in content.nng. I do see quite a bit of difference when switching color schemes, so if yours does not show any, something else must be overriding scheme files. You wouldn't happen to have, say, a color.ini file just sitting in iGO's main folder?
  16. That is what I thought so it is logic that the parameter should be planned_road_future= (i.e. not visited yet), but with the night scheme GJ2.1_Night_sky2.ZIP, the planned route that I see in the AVIC HU is really black, so its RGB should be (0,0,0), but in the color.ini file, I got [planned_road_future = "",0,150,0], which is green. And how about [planned_road = "",0,200,0], that should also be green but can't see in the AVIC? Strange... You don't have any external files that could be overriding it? Also, G=150 is darkish green...
  17. Well, planned_road_whatever should be parameters for the calculated route color. COLOR3D.INI file is a separate file with colors (as well as building visibility, car model etc. parameters) defined when you are in 3D mode. If it is not present, values from COLOR.INI are used.
  18. Before that, did you make any changes? Check that there's still some free space on the Flash drive.
  19. First thank for the reaction. Please help me a little bit more, give me a hint Where in, or in with menu +/- can I do that ? I have looking now +/- 2 days and nothing found !! Do you also now how a can a lot of Tomtom OV2 poi's convert to the Pioneer? I have a xxxxxx.OV2 file with 5000 Poi's (Motor-home places Europe) but wit NAV-feed from pioneer a can only do max. 100 So I have it broken up in 50 files! I have try "Igo -poi editor" and they translate tomtom OV2 to KML nice on my SD-card but the Pioneer F900BT didn't accept / recognize this KML. You probably want to conver
  20. There are some in the first post. General appearance haven't changed since then.
  21. Thanks. What I thought... Although it is too bad that we don't get software and Navis they have in Japan and Korea...
  22. No big loss, I guess...
  23. Interesting. Any idea who makes the Navi software? Pioneer's homegrown or some known brand?
