  1. I have an F700BT and I am trying to upgrade to 3.0 but I'm having issues. I already asked for assistance in the official 3.0 upgrade thread but haven't heard anything back so I'm gonna try this on my own. I think my upgrade problems are coming from the fact that I already have "modded" the firmware in the radio with the software speed bypass and other things. I'm trying to "re-image" my unit back to stock and try the upgrade again, but I can't remember what I need to do. I know I need the original 2.0 firmware and then boot to test mode and copy it over or something along those lines from what
  2. Does anyone have any idea on what could be causing the problem I described. I can't for the life of me figure out why it keeps telling me upgrade failed before I even start the actual upgrade process.
  3. Hmmm... I know I am pretty late on this, but every time I get to step 6 where i choose WINCE by SD/MMC (Format) or "Choice 0" on the list, I get a red box at the bottom that says "SDMMC Update fail!!! Any key to continue" I never see where it tells me to restart at the bottom center of the screen. I have tried it the long way with only the two winceimg files on the sd card and the "condensed" way with putting all the files on the root of the folder. Neither way worked. I am running a hacked data.zip file right now with the speed bypass and a couple other things and I'm not sure if that matters
  4. This is absolutely depressing!!!
  5. Hey Guys, I searched the forums for a while and wasn't able to find what I was looking for. The new iPhone 3GS has the ability to play music through a connected bluetooth device. My brother in law has a single din pioneer radio with bluetooth, and he can play his music through the car stereo. The F700 is a MUCH more advanced radio than his, yet I can't figure out how to get the bluetooth audio to work. Is it not a possibility on the F700 BT? Thanks in advance. Scott
  6. yeah that was my thinking too...we'll see
  7. Sorry if this is a little on the noobish side...but what is the purpose of routing the bluetooth mic to a switch?
  8. The very last pic that I posted in my last post...do you know how this was done? It shows the binoculars view with the bluetooth and iPod overlay? Thanks.
  9. Ok, I think I got it working but I think I was hoping it would do something else...lol. There is a pic in the launcher 2.0 topic that shows iGo running and the bluetooth light is on with the iPod overlay on the maps. I got the Florida map and the license file and copied over the ezrider file but nothing happened. I go to the map info screen and all of my maps say 2007 except florida says 2008. It loads the map (which is why I assume it worked) but the layout looks exactly the same as the regular avic mapping system. I was trying to get the new software look (with the binoculars in the
  10. I don't know exactly what kind of internet radio you are referring to, but if it's an app, like pandora radio or something along those lines, all you need to do is plug the iphone in and after the ipod loads, hit the home button to get back to your home screen, tap the pandora app and it will play through the regular ipod cable with no problems.
  11. somehow i knew i was gonna get that answer. i was checking around and couldn't find it. i'll keep looking.
  12. Where can we find the license file for US?
  13. Anyone got any ideas?

    Bluetooth

Hey guys. I posted a question in the Launcher 2.0 forum, but it is so busy and stickied, I wasn't sure if anyone was seeing it or not so i decided to make another post. Sorry for a "double post." I see in the picture of the Launcher that iGo is running with new maps and the bluetooth light is lit up and there is an iPod overlay just like on the stock iGo map system. When I run the Launcher and load up iGo, I switch back over to the AVIC software to use my Radio and iPod and what not, but my bluetooth light stays off and I can't use my bluetooth. Someone told me it wasn't possible
  15. On the very first page of this post, you can see that the new iGo maps are running AND the bluetooth light is lit up with iPod overlays in the lower right. I never looked at that picture before, but that would lead me to believe that using the bluetooth and the new iGo maps should work. I have been pm'ing another member on here and he says it is working for him just like it would with the regular software. I'm thinking this has to be possible, any help would be apprecitated.
  16. Man, I installed that when I had my D3. But now I have the F700 and it doesn't use the VSS wire. That was like 2 months ago man. I don't remember exactly, but I know it was orange. I browsed scionlife.com forums and found it there. If you haven't been there (which I'm sure you have) give it a shot and see what you can find over there. GL.
  17. I have an 06 Scion xA. That is the wire used in my car for VSS. I would think it would be the same.
  18. Most of the time, searching will give you any answer you need. Sometimes it doesn't and it's best to just browse the forum. I browsed a while for you and found a post that I was reading about a month ago. A lot of us spend a lot time reading new posts that have been answered NUMEROUS times. It does get frustrating when searching would actually work. Don't get mad at the guys here. Everyone is cool and willing to help where they can. Hope this helps. http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19380
  19. Hey guys. Has anyone tried to replace the iGo folder on the flash disk with the iGo8 folder from the Leet Launcher? Will it work? Basically, I love the iGo 8 from the LeetLauncher, but I really don't want to lose my iPod or my BlueTooth.
  20. ok, i went back out to the car on my way home from work and before I left, I deleted all of the schemes from the iGo8 in LeetLauncher, and that seemed to help. it booted normally for me and all is well again. Thanks Boris.
  21. I deleted all the schemes and it still doesn't boot normally. I can boot into leetlauncher but when i try to go to pioneer...same thing!
  22. Hey Boris...i need your help buddy! Everything seemed to be working fine then I went to try another color, and I got the same problem they were having before, where it kicked me out of nav settings, and now my system just continually reboots itself. I reset the unit, deleted the map files, put the original data.zip back in, still just keeps rebotting...i'm getting kinda nervous after the reset didn't work. Any ideas?
  23. thanks. i'm sure this has been discussed somewhere in the previous 16 pages so if it has i apologize. when booting to iGo 8 then bouncing back to the avic software, the bluetooth connectivity will not load. i know this is an issue, but is the something that may be fixed in an update to come or not? also, will the bluetooth work when running garmin maps or tomtom maps? again, sorry if it's already been asked/asnswered.
  24. I use my PS3 mainly for playing BluRay movies and it's incredible. I played Metal gear on it and it look incredible too. I use my 360 for my gaming and...again...awesome. No ghosting or anything like that. As far as burn in, plasmas used to be real bad about burn in, but the technology has gotten considerably better. I don't know about other brands, but Samsung has implemented a technology that actually shifts the pixel every so often so if it's on pause the picture is still "moving". It sounds crazy, but the pixel shift is so slight it is un-noticeable. I have actually seen it move befor
  25. yeah...$40 a month...that's definitely crap! LOL $40 a month. HAHAHAHA
