  7. The contacts are only available when the phone is connected. So even if you had more than one phone you used with it the only contacts that will show are the one associated with the phone being used at that time. When you get the Storm if it doesnt work either you will have to copy the phonebook from the Avic edit it and the load it back on. There are several posts about this if you search edit the phonebook. I had to do it for my iPhone 3G and it works great now. The easiest way I found to edit the phonebook.db was using my FireFox Browser with the SQLite add on. Just remove any parenthesis a

  10. I finally got around to editing my phonebook data for my iPhone 3G and now the voice dialing works and names show on the screen when calls come in. For those that use Firefox they have an SQLite add on that makes it really easy to edit the phonebook.db

  12. I've had both the Kenwood DNX5120 and the F90BT which I have now. If you are using an iPhone 3G you will have to call Kenwood for the iPhone 3G specific 1.61 Bluetooth update (its not on the website) or the call quality will be horrible. The SMS on the Kenwood doesn't work and sometimes the address book works on the Bluetooth and sometimes it doesn't. That said it is a nice unit and I never had many problems with it. But I like the Pioneer better, and previously I never had anything but Kenwood since the mid 80s
  13. I just got a postcard in the mail from Squaretrade good for a 35% discount on any new warranty. Just use the Coupon Code: HOLIDAYMAIL ITS GOOD UNTIL Jan 6, 09. But only the first 10,000 customers get 35% then it reverts to 20%

  16. I love my iPhone, I had the original and now the 3G. But the one thing that is lacking on the iPhone is the actual phone portion. My Razr V3XX had 10 times the signal strength and call quality. But I love all the iPhones features.
  17. I've bought from them several times with no problems
  18. I had trouble doing mine too. Do you have anything extra hooked up? I had to unplug the ip bus for the sirius and then the update worked fine

  22. Yes......Just wait though....the linups will be merging in a month or so.... Looks like all the music channels have merged as of today. The only differences between XM and Sirius now are the talk and sports offerings. I never listen to anything but music so I just ordered the XM box to replace my Sirius setup. The XM display is much nicer on the F90BT
