Or you could just actually know your music...most people while listening to a song know the name so there isn't really a reason to need to know the current song while trying to pick a new one its not like in order for the song to be good the name needs to be displayed and if you repick the song ur listening too you might want to learn some facts about ur music

No but technically you could run the ipod connector cable through the center console and into arm rest and out by the aux port, but you might need to buy an extention for the usb

gwilli, ur bein a huggggeee troll. This site is a FORUM its not like a pioneer hotline with thousands of representatives. There are faq's and downlaodable manuals all over this site, the information is easily accessable. If you were in such a rush to find out you should have taken 5 min to download the manual and 30 seconds to find out how to do the splash screen since it's quite possibly the easiest thing to do on the unit. Your making urself look like a jackass which you probably are so do us all a favor and get of the forum and take ur bitching somewhere else.

1 they didn't bypass it correctly 2 search the forum there are tons of threads about splash screens...put an image on a flash or SD and put it in go to splash screen and then upload it

I'd give yourself an afternoon. Took me and my buddy 4 hours to do mine but we also had to dremel out a metal cross bar to make the unit work and had to run my rcas from my sub through the dash etc everything else was hour and a half two hours besides those two road blocks

Depending on price and what exactly is fixed and the extent of its fixture will determine if I pay for it or not yeah itd be nice to be free but with the economy how it is companies need the money and hey you can either pay for the update and have a more functional unit or not and deal with the problems or pay even more for a new unit. Not saying its the right thing to do. I for one thing the problems should be fixed prerelease and updates should be for new features and functions not fixing bugs but hey you have 2 options pay for a bug fixer or deal with bugs I for one will pocket up for the f

My f90 sometime does this. Well sorta sometime while switching through av sources or something the ipod will grey out and show a usb instead of the ipod so I have to open my glove box and unplug and replug the usb and the ipod cord but only happens sometimes
