  1. Ya know you could have started this thread as a pole right?

It can't. AVIC FEEDS is a discontinued application and no longer supports the search function. The reason deals with the fact that Apple iDevices no longer have Google Maps as they did with iOS5. This was the last version AVIC FEEDS supported.
  3. Until you travel in a heavly forested area, area with heavy sky scrapers, or travle in a tunnel. It will be a big deal then. Its there for a reason and should be connected. If if its not always necessary for the system to use it.
  4. Try this: push the app mode icon, when it ask to confirm hit ignore on both devices. Then open your video app and let is know what happens.
  5. When the prompt for the AR app appears just hit ignore.
  6. The 4000 is not and AVIC unit and as the title states this is for AVIC units only. Feel free to try it but it has already been discussed what AVH units need to achieve the bypass.
  7. Yeah I certainly don't think the answer they have me is permanent as long as Apple doesn't stand in the way. I just suspect we won't see it this year if we ever do. Also, with CP's heavy reliance on Siri, it makes it kinda hard to integrate third party apps until Apple starts opening up Siri for third party apps.
  8. PMd them on the Facebook page the other day about this and they responed that there were no plans at this time. Kinda disappointing. Waze is the only app I will miss once I go CP. Just putting this out there FYI.
  9. Of course there is. Car Play will use USB so there is no reason the two cant be used on one unit.
  10. Yeah even though the devs have a jailbreak for 7.11 I doubt we will see it. No need in disclosing an exploit that can be used for iOS8 soon to be released.
  11. Multiple phones are supported but as with the prvious units you had to select a different phone when you entered the car. My guess is nothing has changed with the current units.
  12. Ah, so you were referring to the bullet points. I was looking in the specifications section. My guess is that is an error. Refer to my last post for traffic options.
  13. I just looked over the specs on the web site and see no mention of a traffic tuner. Traffic on the 4000 can be achieved by using one of the App Mode navi apps or the add on navi module.
  14. Because once you update an older version with a newer version you have no way to retrieve the older version if there is a compatability issue. And all apps in your library can only be used by you so trying to use someone elses older version wont work. A cracked app on the other hand will allow you to use anyones older app version.
  15. It is assumed that the 260 will have the new custom version of iGo Pioneer is now using on thier NEX units as oposed to the garbage they've been using sense the second gen Z series and the previous serise of U modules.
  16. USB use to be the only way to update Pioneer units.
  17. If the manual says you can use an SD card, why are you concerned?
  18. No. I'm thinking one port will be used for App Mode and the other for Car Play.
  19. There's no hack required. I use proclipusa cradles.
  20. There will be a hands free interface while not in CP mode and a CP mode hands free interface.
  21. Car Play does not support video.
