What’s the deal with MSN Direct going out of business which mean that the MSN Direct function on our radios will no longer be supported. I called Pioneer and asked them what was the deal and they said the icon on our radios will now simply be a useless none working feature. That really sucks in more ways than one. A hack for that will defiantly be in demand.

I am having the same issues as everyone else with the F900. I swear pioneer has sent out a signal that crashed our radios. For the same problem to affect everyone almost at the same time. Anyway, I am asking anyone if they have a test mode file for the F900 they can provide. I have read all 12 pages of post and would like to try the gps file deletions method, but I first need to get into test mode. I wiped my sd card clean and loaded a version of test mode on it, turn the key to the on position and I then get an error every time. What could I be doing wrong. I have had this radio for over 3 ye

I called Crutchfield and ask one of their techs is using the upgrade will write over any hacks you have on your system and he said "No, it will only update your maps and your 3d buildings but it will not overwrite any of your hacks. " I dont want to lose the self loading EZRIDER hack that I am using. Using the hacked upgrade or the bought upgrade firmware may be the difference. Can anyone that has upgraded their firmware confirm this? Thanks,

Save the torrent file locally and open it in your bit torrent client. For some reason the file handling doesn't seem to work properly to launch the torrent client with that link. Don't know why... The hacks are different in 3.0. You'd have to find the location of each change and edit the config files accordingly. It's not in HTML. It can certainly be done, but it's more involved than you appear to realize. Where is the bit torrent client? Is it on the unit?

I am wonder if all hacks are done in the config folder. I am thinking about going into the config folder in 3.0 and puting some of the changes that was done in my 2.0 hack in order to keep them. I that is how its done, do I need to do anything else in any other folder? I really dont want to lose the mods that I have. I understand html so I dont think it should be hard to mode if I am correct in what I am asking. I am looking for a version of the terrant that works. Thanks for your help - however, I am a bit confussed about the ezrider hack working with the 3.0 upgrade. This is what I am understanding from what you said- 3.0 is the hardware upgrade and I should not affect the ezrider hack because that is a software modification. Please correct me if I am wrong. We all want the latest and the greatest but no one wants to brick their unit.

I take it the answer to my question (Updating to 3.0 firmware, will the updating cause me to lose the ezrider all in one mod?) is yes. So once I have upgraded to 3.0 all I have to do is reload the ezrider hack and I should be good. I am sorry for trying to get a detail answer. I just don’t want to brick my unit. I don’t want to go through the frustration and aggravation it may cause.
