Nevermind, i did it all from scratch and now it works perfect! Must have missed something somewhere the first time, oh well. Now the real question, what are all the options in the map screen? I see on the top theres two hard to see icons, one with what looks like 2 arrows pointing to an upright angle and one to the right of it looking like a flip cellphone with a red X. What do these do? Anyway to get the map to always face North? Maybe a tutorial when you get a chance of how to actually use this Mod would be amazing for someone not so navi savvy as myself. Of course ill play with

I first installed FX3.1 perfect zero problems. Then i installed this v.4 mod to the T perfectly, i then had to delete about 10 states to make enough room though and also installed the New GFX folder as well as the New Schemes folder overwriting the schemes and what needed overwriting of course. For me though there was no existing GFX folder to be deleted so didn't need to do that step as in the instructions. I then turn car off, screen goes off, take out sd card, turn car back on. Now after the Pioneer splash screen it goes to the main menu but right away i get a grey windows window Error

Does this current version 3.25 work with fx3.01 upgrade, http://avic411.com/index.php?showtopic=27807 ? I think fx is firmware 3.01 which is why i ask but not sure? Could someone clear this up for me please? Thank you

X2. I checked pioneer's website, clicked on my device (avic f-90bt), updates, only shows a firmware 2.08 or something to that effect update. Not a 3.0 or 3.1 or even a 4.0 that someone here says they have. On that note, how do i get the downloads to work in this sticky or even the one below it on updated to 3.0? Click on links and get an error page like its not even a valid link? Appreciate any info.

Anyone? I have wmv music videos in original 320x240 format im pretty sure. Now how would i convert these to have them full screen without the player lagging the playback on my avic-f90bt device? I store them on my 8gb sd card so they play off that. Any ideas please? I have over 50 music videos and would be awesome if i could simply get them to play full screen on my device with original quality and no lag. When i play them original now its crystal clear and no lag but the picture is half the size of the screen's device if that! Thank you

I have tons of mpeg music videos i think in 320/240 format. It looks fine on the home computer since i can maximize the window to full screen and the picture is still clean with everything in proper motion. Now ive converted these files to .wmv files to play on my avic-f90bt unit. They play just fine but they are about half the size of the screen during playback. Is there anyway to make the music videos full screen on the unit? What aspect ratio or resolution would i have to change my files to for them to be full screen? To all the bluetooth problem people, its your PHONE, not the mod causing this. Im using the avic-f90bt zero problems. I also flash new roms almost daily on my att fuze phone causing me to re-pair my device each time i flash a new rom to my phone. I turn bluetooth on my phone, start up car, within 5min my phone says blah blah blah wants to connect, say ok, type 1111, phone connects, then asks to transfer contacts, hit ok on my phone, 30sec later all my contacts are perfectly on my device. I was able to do this multiple times with stock device and still multiple times now with cmh's amazing

Is there a way to set the navi to give you better directions? Ive messed with it to have it give me directions to routes i go on everyday just to see what kind of directions it gives me. It gives the the directions to take mainly just main roads and multiple freeways to get the same place i could much faster with less freeways and side roads instead. I have the gps settings on fast assuming it would give me the fastest route to get to where i have the directions for. How about the short setting? Would this setting give me the shortest (which would also be fastest) route to the point i set

OMG! I just checked the msn website coverage area and of course i live in the only white area (no coverage area) in all of los angeles, this explains a lot! Well ill try it out more when im more in the green cities to really see if theres a problem. Had no idea there was no coverage until now.

I've activated my unit with msn for it to work on my device. I've had it working usually with 1 or maybe 2 bars of reception to msn. Doesn't make sense to me since i am in los angeles, california, probably the largest area for msn to work! For the past 3 days now I cannot connect to msn no matter where i am. I click on msn, then status, and it just says in the middle of the screen connecting to msn forever and never changes. Any ideas? Thanks!

Yes, in your thread you have it all. In this mod i thought it was cmh's Mod with your entire blue button theme including all buttons. It seems though after loading this that it is missing many of the blue buttons including the keyboard unfortunately.

Almost. Seems this only includes cmh's mods and blue theme file, not all the buttons. Some of the buttons are blue but the keyboard is still the stock black keyboard. I was looking more for the blue keys only, love cmh's theme if it only included the blue keyboard/keys.

Dang, still cant get it to work right! I used the 7zip program but when you make a zip it saves it as 7z zip file and the device doesn't read it as a zip so that kind of defeats the whole purpose of using 7zip. Tried extracting the whole DATA folder, copy over the new button files, then re-zip the entire DATA folder, replacing it on the device, reboot, no changes made at all! I dont get it?

Got it fixed for free. Guy did it in like 10minutes, just had to run or change a wire or something. Either way he fixed it quick and for free, works perfect now in reverse and by tapping the option while driving. Thanks guys!

highlight all the folders/files inside DATA folder then right click choose 7zip, then add to archive and that should do it So get my original Data.zip, extract it to its own folder, then copy the stuff needed, then rezip the Data folder back? Is that right? Ima try that right now.

Sorry for a stupid question but im not too saavy with zip programs. I've downloaded 7zip, got my data.zip from the device on my desktop computer, unzip the 800x400 folder, copy/pasted/overwrote the files with your files, now how do i put this modded folder back into the data.zip? Am i doing this wrong? Id love to have these blue keys but can't figure out how to get the right folder back in its proper place? When i try to drag and drop it back to where it goes, the program just puts it in the main root zip of the file so its not in the proper folder. Thanks!

Thanks! Its already wired to the reverse on the car so thats done already. Sounds like he just needs to wire the other wires to a power and ground? Im sure he'll know when i explain the backup camera working without the car being in reverse, just didnt know how to word it to him. Thanks! Lazy installers!

So tell the install guy the camera needs power from the acc curcuit and be grounded all the time? Sorry, i know nothing but install stuff or wiring.

Nice but why in the screenshots in the middle of the bar on the bottom is a green rectangle with what looks like a keyboard in white in it? Is that just the screenshot app or will the theme include that on my device and if so, what is it for?

Im using the avic-F90bt. I have a backup camera installed and it works perfectly while in reverse. While driving my device has a feature to use the backup camera. The option is on the top of certain menus and i think says rear view. I press it to see the caution message up top when the backup camera is on but the screen is all black, no picture. I dont believe its the wiring since the camera works just fine in "R" as it should, just this feature is not working. For the backup camera i have only found 2 settings, one to turn it on or off and two to run on battery or some other option i ha
