Not to sound like a jerk but you must've read it wrong. He wants just a usb cable without the RCA which as far as I know they don't make for the Pioneer F/x series.

GO to the F series forum in the hacks section, they have a picture on how to do it. These models X/F series use the same bypass.

Did you move the mute wire from one pin to the other pin??

if its formatted for mac the Pioneer wont read the sd card. SInce its running off of windows ce, you need i think FAT for the avic to read it.

ground the yellow/black (mute cable) to the black ground cable.

what file do i replace?

Hello: i noticed you can put a rear video with the video (yellow rca) cable. Anyone know if you can put it to where u can play the dvd just to the back and in the front still use the navigation? thanks JON

If i were you I would not send it in, because what are they going to fix?? Nothing really because its basically just a software issue that everyone has, and unless they release a new update to fix it then theres no point in sending it in.

yeah i guess your right it all depends on the dash kit cause the dash kit i installed the first time, the faceplate didnt fit, the second one i installed fit right in the Avic 910bt. heres a pic

Damn. idk maybe you got a lemon, so far touch screen reponse is fine for me, bootup is about 30 secs. The only thing i think should be improved is the Voice Command Response for ipod,and name dialing. Oh and one more thing is when playing with the ipod and going through the nav menu it gets like a little bit lag. But so far im happy with it.

so far for me, like album names by voice wont work, and neither does the caller name. SO far the only thing that really works is Voice Number dialing.

didnt think about that, cause i was looking for aux on the menu but hopefully this works. THanks for the reply.
