Just curious if the 2011 update was the last update that will be available for the X920BT. I really like the unit, and would like to opportunity to upgrade to the NAVTEC maps. Anyone have any idea?

So something I'm curious about here: since XM and Sirius are now merged, couldn't you just buy the XM tuner to get the better info display, and get all the channels anyway? As far as my limited understanding of the situation goes, they merged all of their programming.

Kinda funny, I have a rental car right now (VW Jetta) which does this and I was actually wondering if there was a way to turn it off. To me it's kinda annoying to have my music set at a certain volume, then stop to pick something up, and get back in the car and have to crank it back up again. Personal preference I guess

Yeah the problem I see with this is just that it seems to be obvious that you are hiding a fancy stereo since there appears to be no radio in the car at all, which would be highly unlikely.

I have had the F700BT for a while now, and my car was broken into this past weekend and it got stolen. Fortunately, the insurance company decided to replace it with the X920BT, which is a nice upgrade. The only question I had, I bought the Pioneer iPod cable for the F700BT, but I believe they changed the model number on the iPod cables for the X920. Can I use the same cable? The thieves left the cable after pulling out my F700. Or does the X920 absolutely require the newer cable? I can't seem to find an answer to this. Thanks all!

Unfortunately, despite the 3.0 firmware making the unit much more responsive and snappy as far as the touchscreen, Pioneer considers it an "optional" update that merely enables the new features of the mapping software. It's total crap, but they want your 120 bucks.

As far as I understand, 3.0 fixes this.

Interesting thread, I'm curious to see if a solution is possible. I have a 32GB iPhone 3GS and I get terribly pixelated artwork for most any song I've looked at on the unit.

Once I download it, where do I put the file and how? Thanks

Sorry in advance if this is answered elsewhere, there are so many threads in this forum I tried searching around but no luck. I would like to remove the box that pops up telling you "this is only for visual aid please dont look at it while driving" etc , and also I get a popup box saying that the parking break sensor is not properly grounded, and I have to click OK on both of these things each time I start my car. Is there a fix somewhere to remove both of these things? Also if there was a guide as to how to install it that would be great - I just purchased the unit yesterday and am not al

When I use WinRAR and open the Test Mode download, it complains about it being an incomplete file. Then when I extract the folder, it says the CRC check failed and the file might be corrupted, but then it does actually give me a testmode folder. Is that normal? It says the size of this unrar'd folder is 124kb, that doesn't seem to match up.

Yeah I was on the phone with Pioneer & even spoke with a supervisor, they consider the 3.0 update 'optional' and he basically said if I wanted that updated functionality I should have purchased the X710 instead. Great customer service. Good thing I know how to use torrents.

I have been searching, but I can't seem to find a good end-to-end tutorial, I'm not sure what to do with the IDT_3.5 folder that comes out of the x910bt.zip or how to go about step by step doing the update, can you link a thread that has this? Thanks

I just picked up a F700BT and would like to get a nice graphic with the Honda logo on a black background to make my startup graphic. Does anyone have one that they could share that is formatted to the right resolution for the unit? Thanks in advance =)

Awesome, got it downloaded, thank you. Can you link me to a step-by-step on how to install this? It has a folder inside called IDT_v3.5, that has a bunch of subfolders in that as well. Not quite sure what needs to go onto an SD card or in what order. Thanks!
