  1. I vaguely remember the z110bt manual saying that DIVX feature is only compatible via CDR/DVD-R.
  2. So like most people on this forum, my mic generates a wind tunnel like sound in the background while I'm parked in a quiet garage or while driving. Someone posted that wrapping an electrical tape on the outside of the mic should solve this. So I experimented with the Electrical tape method yesterday and here are my results: (In order to listen to my results, I left voice messages on my voicemail box.) Pre Test - no tape = wind tunnel like sound in the background; voice sounds like it could be clear, but being distorted by the wind sound. Test 1 - Wrapped with 3 layers of tape
  3. Aww, it looks like they didn't fix the truncation problem for: [*:1i1x10u1]Artist Text String [*:1i1x10u1]Album Text String [*:1i1x10u1]Song Text String
  4. Wow, I really think that the new A/V User Interface is very unattractive. The graphics and design looks very outdated. The design looks very aftermarket-ish. I do like the MusicSphere, but everything else about the User Interface sucks. I really like the current A/V User Interface for the Z110 bt. I think its simple and sophisticated. Without all the crazy ugliness of an aftermarket look. The only thing I wished they changed was something very simple. I wished that it displayed more characters for song title, song artist, and album or even a scroll text display. There was no need
  5. Thanks for sharing your photos. It looks great!
  6. Resolved! The installer replaced the "Scosche JBL Interface" with the "PAC TATO JBL Interface" and it worked perfectly.
  7. 1. Settings -> Map Settings -> Touch the type you want to set: [2D view], [3D view], [street View], [Rear View]. Sounds like you are currently on [rear view]. For more information, its on page 46 of the manual. 2. If its locked on scroll, I usually just touch the arrow on the upper left to set it back to regular mode. page 40. good luck
  8. Hi everyone. I'm having issues with my passenger side tweeter. It's giving off this ticking sound as soon as the car is turned on and it continues like this through out the whole car ride. While driving, I get a second sound. I get this whirling/whistling/hissing sound when the car is in motion. Usually when I accelarate or slow down. I have a 2009 Toyota Corolla with stock JBL speakers. I never had this problem prior to installing the AVIC Z110 bt. After getting my car back from the installer, that is when I heard these noise. I mentioned it to the installer and he sa
  9. Please ask. I have the same problem on my right speaker. Thank you.
  10. Is there a way to set up a destination by using cross streets? I'm looking at the manual and I can't seem to find this. Thanks
  11. Thanks for the quick reply. I'll give him a call tomorrow.
  12. Ok, just got the car back today with the Avic -Z100bt installed. So far, I really like it. There are a few things that I may have the installer take a look at again. -My right speaker is making a strange whistling/hissing sound. -The steering wheel interface: All the buttons are programmed to my liking except the VR button. He programmed that button as MUTE/ATT instead. I would do it myself, but I'm afraid I might mess it up. - VSS wire - How do I know if he actually installed this. There was a pink wire in my box that wasn't used... Is that it? Thanks.
  13. Awesome thanks for the response dawgbone & vblue. I have the 4th Gen. Nano. I got my unit last week and it is scheduled for an install this saturday. I'm pretty excited.
  14. So is this only a known issue for the iphone & the itouch? Anyone know if this is an issue for a newer ipod? Thank you.
  15. That is awesome that you got your rebate. Just to clarify... Receive a $200 mail-in Rebate when purchasing a Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT, or a $100 mail-in Rebate when purchasing a Pioneer AVIC-X910BT, between October 16, 2009 and March 31, 2010, subject to the requirements below.
  16. I'm really excited. I just ordered the Z110bt an hour ago from 6ave.com I'm trying to figure out what else I need before I take it to the installer. 17. I think it was for a limited quanity during the thanksgiving weekend.
  18. Now i'm thinking about just ordering it from 6ave via amazon. Maybe I can get a friend to install. Vblue, is it difficult to install?
  19. Hmm I'm rethinking it. I just looked up the rating on the BBB website and it doesn't look good. F rating. I'll wait and shop around.
  20. Thanks for the pricebreak down. That was very helpful. I'm going in tomorrow to see if he could show proof of being an authorized dealer. Hope you guys had a great holiday.
  21. Hey Guys, Where is a good place to shop for a Double DIN Mounting Kit? I have an 09 Toyota Corolla. I just want to look at some options when I purchase and install my Z110bt. Also, I've been talking to this Dealer. He quoted me 1300 (no tax) for the Z110bt including installation, back up camera, PAC SWI PS, XM Tuner, ipod cable. Deal or no Deal? Let me know what you think. Thank you.
  22. WHAT?!! That's insane. Since you've already did the research, which authorized dealer is this? If you wouldn't mind? Thank you.
