You mean you have a US-Version installed? If yes, depending on the Version of your device, change the CARDINFO.CIF to that version and try to update without dowing anything else. If not then you have to remove it. Normaly, the update compares the version No. and the device version. Regards

Sorry was my mistake, this update will not run on your device F910BT, you can use AvicNet 2.1 form this thread for your device.

But you don't need to change the Cardinfo.cif just use the original one.

Sure you need to update the firmware. Just download the files in the first post, download and replace the VERINFO.DAT and CARDINFO.cif put all on your FAT32 formatted SD-CARD and start the update on your device.

@PUG here are the instructions, you can put them in the first post. The maps are updated, the lines for the camera are new. Just use my new cardinfo.cif attached.

I can confirm that, the Lines for the camera are there.... The BT firmware is also newer. Just update your BT firmware to the newest ((Then you can run the APPS)) from Bluetooth or wired.

Have you tried to use the Carinfo from the original update? I think this one will work!! Have no time to test yet, maybe at this WE.

Got this working on my Avic F20BT. The first three times got the famous error, Wrong Sd-Card after that searched for a solution and found it. If you edit the file ALLDATA.VER you'll find the structure of the files on the SD-Card and at the end of the file, you'll find OPENING.FLG. This file must be under Update\USER\SYSTEM\BG\OPENING.FLG Just create OPENING.FLG with 0 Bytes. Did that on the same SD-Card without reformating or something else, just created this file plugged in ran the update and 100% succeeded.

Hi Ryar, Please can you tell my how to add a new programm to the main menu? I'm trying to add Navigon Mobile Navigator (7.7.x) is the latest that supports WINCE5 with 800x480. It will be great to test it on the Avic F900BT. I'm planing to remove the Garmin Navigation (Not working for me, can't find GPS) and then use Navigon. Thanks -

Hi Ryar, I want to inform all of you, that TomTom is working now Just download the MAPS copy them to the Root of your SD-CARD without any other folder (if your map is DE_AT_CH_890_4234) just make the Folder DE_AT_CH_890_4234 on the Root of your SD don't copy them in the MAP-Folder. You can only use the maps between 890_4234 and 890_4236 don't forget to activate it. The GPS: Choose other NMEA GPS receiver GPS baud rate 57600 and PORT 6. My problem is IgoPrimo, it crashes always when I try to create a new route. I have my crash.log -------------------------------- -
Hi, I have the German files in the correct folders and now I got everything in german Everything is working, but only one thing "No GPS SIGNAL" It stucks on "Waiting for GPS Signal", do you know what do I have to do? Do I need to edit my System.txt "GPS is working with IGO" Also when I open the GPS Settings it show 7 Satellites are available!!! Regards

Hi Chuck88, This is really a great job. I installed PRIMO and I'm really happy to use it.... There is only one thing that I like to have ""German Language"" Please can you tell me which files do I have to change (Modify) to have german language and speech? I tried to put the German language file in "Lang" and the voice and TTS-Voice in the ""Voice folder"" but still not working. It won't accept the TTS German language as in IGO. I'll be thankfull for any help. Regards

Hi, I tried the Avicnet with the italian settings... I can confirm that the idea is very good.. Now I'm planing to use Ryars AVICNET. The only thing that I need is changing the Interface to German... I managed to get IGO in german but the other settings still in english and italian... Is there anyone who managed to use everything in german or who knows which filles do I need to get everything in german? Thanks for your help -
Hi, I want to ask who knows, if there anyway to add a new maps to the existing maps on the Avic Z1/Z2/HD1/HD3? I need the turkey and balkan maps and I think we can use the maps from other Avic Devices, they have the ext. .KWI and .IDX Thanks

Hi all, Who knows where to find the CNDV-1000HD European Maps on the net? I searched and searched with no results! Alot of peopel are offering the maps on Ebay, but I think there is an Acronis image to download. Thank you for your help

Hi, I only want to ask, if I recovered this image to my AVIC HD3BT (Europe) what might be happened to my hardware? If this fails, can I go back to my old image on my other HDD (CNDV-900HD). Do I have then the newest Firmware and software on my device? Have anybody tried it? Thanx a lot for any reply and any information.
