Since I haven't seen anyone post up any results after using any of the pins from Quarky42 I figured I would vouch for him. I pm'ed him and he replied back in less than a few hours. We made the transaction and a few days later my bypass pin arrived. I had him fab up a pin on each side with some wiring in between just in case I made a mistake the first time or accidentally broke a pin. The pin is pretty small compared to the pin you would have to cut and pull out of the original harness but with a bit of messing around I got the pin to slide to the very back of the harness and sit properly.

nice man, you will def. enjoy this headunit. I finally got around to finishing installing it tonight after getting back from the "First Class Fitment" Canibeat car show. All I can say is I regret not spending the time installing it before the trip. I haven't messed with it too much but it's amazing so far. I also bypassed it with an extra bypass pin from the member quarky42, I put his harness pin in the slot and then put that along with the parking brake wire, and the ground wire all together and everything went perfect the first time.

absolutely! All Amazon kept doing was raising their prices which I think is currently in the 1300 range. I got my headunit about a week later from Al & Ed's so the shipping was fairly quick seeing that it came all the way from Cali to MA. I'll be installing it on Friday before heading to the canibeat.com car show in NJ which is on Saturday. I also bought a bypass pin from quarky42 so I don't have to bother with cutting up and potentially ruining my harness. So if you plan on bypassing this and don't mind spending a few bucks send him a pm.

Does anyone have any extra harness pins to bypass the Z120bt ? I'd rather not pull any of my harness pins and risk breaking something, so if anyone has any extra that they will sell please shoot me a pm. Like many of you I was getting frustrated with all the 25-30% off coupons for the AVICZ120bt not working correctly during checkout on Amazon and Amazon raising their prices just as the coupons are issued. I got the same code sent to my email as well and when I go to add the promotional code to the cart I also get the same error. I've still been playing the waiting game because I think it's shitty that Amazon raises the prices and these discount codes are only putting the price down after rebate just in the same ballpark as sites such as sonic electronix and some ebay vendors. looks like Amazon isn't accepting any of these promotional codes...I tried adding the x920 as well as the z120 just to try to see if anything would go through but I received the same error each time. I should have hit the checkout button when I had the opportunity to nab the z120bt for less than $800 before rebate yesterday but i'll just be playing the waiting game until a new promo code comes up or when Amazon lowers the prices again because they seem to be fluctuating on a daily basis.

actually none of the codes are currently working on amazon since they lowered their price... I was typing my post earlier and just as I finished and went to go checkout there was an error and the promotional code wouldn't work.
