I had a f900bt and loved it, I sold my car and included the unit with the sell, Im currently looking for another unit and was wondering if other units are as hackable/moddable as the 900bt/90bt? Are there other non-pioneer units that can be hacked as well? Thanks!

I have an oem 2.0 copy of "my flash disc", not sure if thats what your talking about, I believe its not the firmware, just software files. not sure if it helps. might want to try disconnecting the gps antenna, maybe that might help. send me a pm if u need that copy.

I have 2 headrests monitors and all I can output to them is DVD media, Is there someway I can output anything I want(SD,USB, etc.) to my rear monitors? I have checked the manual and searched but I haven't found much on the topic. Thanks!

Diaftia's mod doesn't include maps. If it did it would be a 2+gb download. There are maps posted all over this forum. Just grab the ones you want and copy them to the appropriate directory. If that's too hard, try Rettel's 3.1FW update, then Diaftia's 3.6 hybrid mod, that's what I did for my f900bt and my unit works great! Good luck!

Awesome mod! I absoutely love my avic now, everything works perfect!

Just installed Retell's 3.1, everything is perfect, I would however like to have the GPS tilt more so I can see the sky, from what I understand I have to edit the sys.txt file, I don't however know what to put in the file, can someone, link me or tell me what to add. I have search'd but everything I have found has something to with a current skin/mod. Can it be done with the current default pioneer software? Thanks!

just installed this. Everything works perfect, honestly, I really didn't notice much of a speed difference. But I'm happy I have newer maps! I originally had 2.o instaled from OEM. Thanks Retel!

I have done this a number of times and I also can't get my unit to keep the settings, I have moved the slide in both directions and after reboot and back into testmode, everything is as it was before I messed with it, I was just wondering if anyone figured it out yet, my unit is 2.0 from Pioneer.
