Their is PhotoShop for Mac. Or you can use any picture editing software, I know Mac has a few but I think PhotoShop is one of the best for the Mac.

Am I the only person that just leaves the background CD in their Z1 so that they can change it everyday? :D I won’t have time to make anymore for a loooooong time so I made a few. I like change my wallpaper daily, so hopefully these will last me for a while.

1) To save money I would say go to a local stereo shop. Hopefully you can find a reputable one in your area. After you find a shop ask around for people who have had work done there. You dont want a bunch of guys to do a hack job. 2) Online is safe, some places pioneer wont honor the warranty but some of the stores that you buy it from will. So be sure to ask them before you buy! 3) *** ALL 3!!!!! ***** 4) I have heard the same thing. But remember that the Z1 has a HDD, 10GB of music, ~100Cd's or so. 5) Nope!

I would strongly suggest that you tint your windows before you install it. Well I guess that would depend on where you live and park you car frequently, but he Z1 has absolutely NO SECURITY. So depending on where you live then you will have to determine what level of $ecurity you want to add to your car.

Like I said before man, I am loving it. Now you have me thinking about getting my bezel painted to match the car, with some Blue Swede in the seats.

Nice job, looks clean. Was this you first install? It’s good to see people doing their homework and saving themselves some money. Looks great. 3hrs is much better than what it took me... but I didn’t know about all the good stuff I can learn from AVIC411 until after the install :( . Enjoy your Z1 :D

You can simply cut the wire, find wich one is + and -. Run the + to any 12V souce of your car and run the - to ground. Depending on what you will be hooking up to that adapter you may want to run the + to a 12V source that is only on when the car is on.

Yes you will just need a splitter or "Y" that will split the D2s rear output into 2. Well the TV tuner is good, but remember that you are in a moving car so the reception will not be always perfect while driving. IF you park you can get good reception... its not cable so its not perfect all the time.

I think Pioneer could have gotten in trouble because of the fact that you can unknowingly unlock the Z1. If you didn’t know about the light flash or the Ducatiboys bypass, you could accidentally unlock the Z1. Either by remote start with your parking lights on flash or by turning your lights on when you start your car, then change your mind and turn them off.... either way your Z1 is now unlocked and you didn’t do it intentionally... if something happened then I would say Pioneer could be SUED.

Its starting to sound like pioneer fixed the bypass. For us who already have Z1s i hope its a hardware only fix and for those who are going to buy them in the future i hope we will find another easy bypass.
