How did you reset it? is there a button you had to push on the physical module? i sure hope not as mine is buired and would require tearing the dash apart to get to... and you guessed it- mine's doing the same thing as yours. thanks in advance.

red means # of satellites that are used for positioning. yellow means # of satellites that aren't used for positioning. red doesn't mean bad.

Hey Diaftia, new version installed and working on both cars. Only bug i've found is the search. as with the older version i could put in a name of a place in So Cal and it would find it with me being up in sacramento. I know you said it should return more results but i still only see about 200 miles away. Can you tell me what changes the way the search is done with respect to how long it keeps searching to find places further away that meet the criteria? thank you once again!

that would make the download huge. just update the maps yourself. its easy. he may also not want to bundle maps because technically you are supposed to buy them.

Silly question but my girlfriend brought it up as we both have avic's in our cars and she doesn't understand the latest mod with regard to speedcam's- is there somewhere i can see what type of warning its talking about? some will show a small (what looks like) police car with lights on top, some a red/yellow/green traffic light, etc. also i managed to remove one of them, but since then if i click on one that is on my map, but doesn't exist in real life i can't seem to get the menu to remove it anymore. i'm sure i'm just missing something here thank you again for all of your hard wor

i've seen a couple different hacked ezrider's. the one i used which works perfect is 6,283,288 bytes and has a date of 8/13/09. the license file i added was GENERIC_iGO8_WorldWide@801Product.lic

diaftia, Thanks again for continuing to update this. I love your previous version and just went to the new one. Overall I like it much better, but the one thing i'm struggling with is the search. before i would just hit POI, and i could type anything that i knew of, even if it was 450 miles away. for example i live in sacramento and my buddy has a shop in Los Angeles. I could type his shop name and it would find it. But now if i tell it to search it seems to only go about 140 miles away max. Previously i could search for home depot and it would show me tons of stores all over, some

Hi, I just changed to this release and so far i really like it with one exception. i miss the small icons that appeared when you tapped the transparent drop-down arrow on the upper-left side of the map. the larger buttons aren't as functional for me. the trip computer works and the colors look much better. is it possible to just change the menu items back is what they point to different as well? thanks again. oh and i've turned off the speedcam verbal announc and the beep and so far i haven't had any further reboots. well today my trip computer actually worked! However now for some strange reason my unit is rebooting itself like crazy. i THINK it has something to do with the speedcams. i think i turned on the audible announcement of them yesterday. now i'm going to see if disabling them will hopefully fix it.. quite strange. i did a complete backup first in case i need it. thanks again for your hard work..just my luck as soon as i get this thing rockin the way i want it turns into a rebooting monster No problem!
