1. Does it glorify the iconic interface for the GUI? Like... do the touch buttons look different on the display? I'm wondering if the interface would look like that of the Z1 after this update.
2. Yep. cjmartin315 is right. It worked for mine, too... Until I got the GEX-P910XMT. It doesn't do more than 16 characters on the display, though... AND... your clock will only be shown when it is in "HIDE" mode, like with the current XM tuner system you have... When in hidden mode, the display will NOT show the title like yours (probably) does (if its like the older 910 and 903). It will only show the genre (Hits, etc). In other words, no song information is shown while using the clock while using the AV display. Comparatively, no clock is shown while song information is di
3.
if the title is longer will it scroll automatically or do you have to hit some button everytime? also will it show title and artist name and channel name all the same time on the screen?
The titles it displays are truncated to 16 characters -- it doesn't retrieve extended titles. I wish it did. The Red Hot Chili Peppers shows up as The Red Hot Chil Their song "Johnny Kick A Hole In The Sky" shows up as Johnny Kick A Ho So, instead of: The Red Hot Chili Peppers Johnny Kick A Hole In The Sky You get: The Red Hot Chil Johnny
4.

No you can't, however you can use the factory xm antenna for an aftermarket xm tuner.
Will the GM factory antenna work with the xm/nac traffic tuner??
Yes. Use the yellow lead only. I've made a little video about it showing detail in my GMC Canyon when I did it last summer (June) when I got the AVIC-D1. http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~grajkovi/mov ... How-To.wmv The video shows BOTH wires being used with the GEX-P910XM tuner, however I've si
5. I've never seen more than 16 characters on mine. What a disappointment! :(
6. All of the Clear Channel stations have now renamed -- the big ones -- KISS, Mix, Sunny, and Nashville! I don't know if the new names are permanent, or if they are tweaking them... However, now they're missing icons! :(
7. Update: I've went from the GEX-P920XM to the GEX-P10XMT. Darn it. 16 Characters... What the heck! The MyFi shows extended titles and artists. Why doesn't this? Is this a third generation chipset? From their site: My radio shows: I was hoping it would. The D1 and GEX-P10XMT combo on their site does! Does anyone's Pioneer unit use "extended titles and artist names" with this NavT
8. The interface is "complete" on the SIR-PNR2, as per the manual. The SIR-PNR1 is basic in functionality. You have "Function 1" and "Function 2". It plays music, but controlling it is a task.
9. What kinds of discs is everyone using for this? +R or -R? Looks like -R.
10. I have the Pioneer GEX-P920XM -- upgraded from the GEX-P910XM. It has the wonderful graphical interface on my AVIC-D1, unlike the 910. I have a question, though... The GEX-P920XM doesn't show 32 characters -- it shows 16. Does the GEX-P10XMT NavTraffic unit show 32 characters (more than sixteen at least) in artist and title? All pictures I've seen have had by owners of the unit have shown 16 or fewer characters, but the songs and titles weren't any more than 16 characters for the artist and title fields. I would love to have extended titles. I've found no documentation o
