You mean Highlander Hybrid right? In any case, I don't have pictures, but a little more specific than behind the glove box. Speed Sense is the light blue wire in the HVC (Hybrid Vehicle Control) ECU, in the top plug, in pin 24. The HVC ECU is behind the glove box of course, and the module to the left.

Speed Sense is the white/blue or white/green wire at the instrument cluster. Notes: Also found at the central locking control module, in C4, pin 15.

I'm in Connecticut, and the hands free law has been in effect for like a year and a half. People around here we're scared of getting pulled over for about 6 months, but now they're back on their phones just as much as they were before. They just aren't strict enough with it here. Where I go to school in NY I hear about someone getting busted like every other day...I guess its just the cops in the area..

I was JUST looking at that. The screen size is awesome, but they were saying there is a lot of drawbacks because of the SiRF II chipset vs. SiRF III. Something like 10 minutes to find satellites. Not bad for the price though..

I don't have my D3 yet, and I am not good with computers by any means, but I was wondering if anyone has tried to make a .gif file your startup image? I was thinking something like this: Rotating Earth With 'Acquiring satellite link...' or something along those lines under it. Don't know if its possible, and I can't try it yet. Just an idea...

I don't have the 2008, but '07 is: Speed Sense, gray/black, ABS or brake system control module The ABS control module is on the rear driver side of the engine compartment. On the Hybrid models, the brake system control module is on the rear passenger side of the engine compartment. On vehicles with the 6-disc in-dash CD changer, this wire is also found in the radio harness. Doesn't hurt to check.

Ahh thanks cntrylvr79, I didn't even think of that. I don't have my unit yet, so no instruction manual, but I downloaded it from Pioneer's website. Here it is just in case anyone else was wondering.... Just looking at this I was curious, am I not seeing it right, or is that first picture showing that it can be mounted within 10 degrees of vertical as well?

How steep of an upward angle can the D3 be mounted at? At first I thought it has to be flat, but after searching around I found something that said no more than 30 degrees. I'm making a center console so its not a big deal, just want to get it right. Thanks in advance.

My remote start doesnt turn my radio on

1. I don't know, never installed in that car. 2. Reverse Light is red/black, in the driver side kick panel, harness to rear 3. Radio Illumination for your car is green, at the radio harness 4. You remove the mute wire from current position, and put it into new slot. Don't loop it around, so yes, one end will be free.

I thought I saw this posted on this site, but it may have been somewhere else. I read somewhere that if you send out your unit for service, Best Buy has 2 weeks to get your unit back to you, or you get a new unit for free. Is this true at all? My guess is no but its worth a shot to find out...
