  1. I hate to be so slow but I am looking for some one within range of New Orleans to help me with bypass for my Z2. Am willing to travel. I am totally dense on this issue and willing to pay for help. Thanks. Call me. Roger Benischek New Orleans 504-430-8965
  2. I paid $1,550 plus $149 for the install for a new Z2 from a Pioneer dealer in Slidell Louisiana.
  3. Has anyone installed a Z2 in a 2002-2005 Thunderbird? My certified Pioneer install shop went to the speed sensor wires on the wheels but neither wire did the job. We then used the auto volume speed wire that went to the radio. I got a irratic pulsing of numbers from zero to 17 but mostly zero. Someone suggested tapping into the brown wire in abs line at the rear wheel before going into ABS module. Does that sound logical? Have not tried it. Somewhere in these attempts we have been overlooking something or simply not sharp enough to figure it out. Help.

  5. I have the appearance of side ways travel. Does Z-2 have a hide away brain as in the D3? When Z-2 was installed two months ago my screen direction of travel was always toward the top of the screen. Within the past few days direction of travel will drift from straight up, to diagonal, to horizontal and then eventually to a reverse direction diagonal. Also started to get the "excessive vibration" reading on the connection status screen. I reset the learning settings tonight. I have other strange readings in my hardware connections data screen. They relate to my speed pulse indicator jumpi
  6. I had a Z-2 installed in my "04 Thunderbird about five weeks ago. The installer had trouble finding were to connect the speed pulse wire. After two additional trips to the shop he assured me that he finally solved the problem. I have discovered that my speed pulse numbers are not growing and when I go to Connections Screen while driving the speed is "O". I really need to find a source for information on where to connect the speed pulse wire. The '04 Thunderbird is very likely the same as a Lincoln LS since they are basically the same car with different bodies. Any help will be greatly
  7. I hate to ask such a stupid question but I have gone over every page of my Z2 operational manual and no where can I find how to adjust the tilt of the screen. It is either flat or 90 degree open. How do I adjust the angle? Will appreciate any advice.
