    what size would i get for the Avic D3? Thanks If they do not have a listing for that radio, you can customize the size just measure it and give it to them.

    He probably was lying becasue if he told you it can bypass he would lose his job, remember they record some of their phone calls so he probably had to say that. Anyways we can only hope for the best and we will soon find out.

    Yes, it comes locked from Pioneer, according to the other forums on this site.

    Can you hook us up, lead us somewhere that we can get it or do you have any other info that can help us here on this forum to try to get this quick patch. Like you I do not care why they did it I just want it done. Anything will help!!!

    Well they did release a suppose bluetooth update for the Z1 which really turned the old units into two wire bypass. By the way this disk you saw your rep use, can you get a hold of it or get an image from a hardrive it was used on. Anything will help so we can crack it!!!

    Hyperite did you reset your unit before testing the bypass?

    Does anybody here have their Z2 registered with pioneer because if all this update stuff is true they would just send out a disk with software revision,as the update is useless to the Z2 supposely since it has the latest maps

    Hopefuly soon and hopefully they come out with a software revision for the older Z2.

    Hey Wellknown-n-da-biz can you actually confrim the June units bypass. Also what store do you know of that have it already, because I have been to major sotres like Best Buy, Ciricuit City and others and they do not even cary the unit.

    There has not been any confimation as of yet because barely any June units have been found and installed by any of our members on this forum, but hopefully soon!!!

    After doing some reasearch looking for the best price. I found ebay had the best price for either unit.(and yes i know you said beside ebay but just thought you should know).

    D3 all the way it is completely redone with much better features faster ipod control bluetooth and more and it is very cheap compared to the former model D2. 699 is a great price, it would be hard to find it cheaper

    Damn, that sucks. So does that mean that the June 2007 models also don't bypass Also, I read in another forum a person claiming that if the parking brake wire was flashed at boot up it would bypass. I don't have a Z2 to try it on at the moment, and I could not find on another forum whether it was tried or not.

    Lets cross our fingers the the 2 wire bypass will work.
