Hey i just got off of the phone with Corina also cowensadence I did not ask to speak to her. The total price was $65 shipped. I did not have to pay tax. Corina asked me to let everyone know that anybody can help with the order. She also told me that she was givin the impression that introductory price of $60 was because these units were so buggy. Is there any special way we should ask for it since people are reporting being told that it's not available yet?? i.e. any special code? Did she say when it would ship out?

My question is how will we know that the update has officially been released for sale and is available? Will Pioneer change their page to say that is now available or what? Also, where would we buy it from? Direct from Pioneer only, or will places like BestBuy have it? Where will we have to go to get the $70 introductory price? I know a lot is speculation until it is released, but maybe somebody has some answers? Jason?

How the heck do we get this? Why would Pioneer post it on the site and not make it available??? I would be interested in a group buy as well. Judging from the reports that Jason gave from the road show, this is going to be a very significant update and I'm hot to get it, so I may decide not to wait and just get it myself... Maybe Jason can give some insight as to how we can get it?

Does anybody have a Nextel phone that transferred the phonebook without any issues at all?

Does anybody know of a way to change the GOOG-411 phone number that is stored in the F90BT? Right now when I call it, it dials a 425 area code instead of the 1-800 version of it. I'd really like to change it so it is a toll-free call! Thanks!

I'm having problems transferring my contacts from my Nextel I580 phone to my AVIC-F90BT. Keeps saying that the bluetooth link is busy. I've tried breaking the link and going that route as suggested in another thread, but when I do that, it can't find the AVIC. Anybody got any ideas that don't involve editing the phonebook DB? I'd rather not go into the files of this thing if I don't have to. Thanks!

I've been experiencing this for a couple weeks now. Every so often while I'm driving on a route the GPS carrot (your positition marker) will stop traveling. The map will spin when you turn, but will not advance down the road that I am driving on. It just freezes. Leave it alone for a minute or two and it un-freezes and gets you back on the road that you are on. Happened to me 4 or 5 times yesterday in a 1 hour period. It's getting more frequent and much more annoying. All of a sudden it'll stop moving and now I'm lost and don't know where to go!! Anybody got any ideas that can help

He just gave you a bunch of BS because he knew that he couldn't fix the problems for you and that's what he's told to do by Pioneer.
