All this talk about the Z3 is making me sick with out pics. The pics you have above is cool but we all would like to see the map. I would love to see what the new map looks like.

What kind of phone do you have? And does it have a video out port on it?

For those of you who have been waiting for it, here it goes. We jumped from March 07 to Nov, 07. I havent tried it yet but I will today once I get home. I have tried the one that is on their european site and it has worked. The last update that was issued was in March of 07. I used the update from their european site and it worked, lol. Their is a topic on here about that.

Thanks fellas I didnt know that the two messages were separate, I just wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong with my Z2.

Their are two main companies that provide maps to every navigational unit out there. The two are Tele atlas and Navteq. Tom Tom now owns Tele Atlas and Nokia recently bought Navteq.

Everytime I start my truck and the Z2 starts it states the the bluetooth device is connected. This happens all the time, even if I dont have my phone with me. Everything works and I can live with this but I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue.

I did this update today and it works. Now everything is not updated but the majority of my songs were. My new Kanye West cd is still not picking up but I guess that's b/c Kanye came out recently.

Pioneer told me a month ago that they were going to update it in 2 weeks and its been a month now

I just spoke with someone at Gracenote by Pioneer referred me there. Once I spoke to someone at Gracenote they told me that its Pioneer who should be releasing the update. I've been back and forth with these ppl. What can we do.

Im tired of this shit. I call Pioneer and they tell me to call Gracenote. We need to do something. It doesnt make sense we spend our hard earn money for an expensive a$$ Z2 and we cant get updates. I hate it that I have alot of songs on my hardrive and I dont know what is what. What can we do about this?

How can I reduce the "echo" effect on the Bluetooth? To help reduce the echo effect present in some cellular systems, try the following: 1. Place the microphone directly in front of you. If possible, place it on the steering wheel column back neat the instrument panel. 2. Lower the phone volume settings within the Pioneer unit. 3. Try an after-market microphone, some have different gains and will reduce the echo. 4. For the AVIC-Z1, set the Blue-tooth sound to only come out of the right front speaker. 5. For the DEH-P9800BT, select Echo Cancel via the Multi-control knob.

I use Meguiars Quik detailer with a micro fiber cloth. Dont spray the Quik detailer directly on the screen but just a very light spay on the cloth and wipe down you dash and go over the screen.
