jrdiesel
in picture P1050863, is that a home electric wire nut?
LeaSr77
Lol yea I was using that when I was making sure everything work and was trying to see if I should ground it to the chassis or not before I made a permanent connection. I ended up just using the harness ground and put in a crimp connection.
03Aviator
Very nice. Now, for the big question. Where did you get the face plate? I've installed two Z series in LS's. I had to make the face plates from a factory Nav face plate. NOBODY offered one! Did you find a source?
Joe Schmoe
Could have cut out a square of the sticky magnetic stuff just big enough for the GPS antenna. The Lincoln wont be generating THAT many Gs

Eggsack
It is a FORD, it can not help itself that it rusts. LOL! If I remember correctly, that is the color of the primer that Ford uses to make ther inside look like the undercarriage so people do not think it is rust, but paint!!! LOL

avic4u
Nice clean install! I wouldn't worry about the rust. It was the first thing I noticed because my old 1997 Honda CR-V was exactly the same when I changed the stock radio after having it for 3 years. I had it until 2006 and never had any problems. CatchMeIfYouCan631
Yeah, the only thing you really have to worry about with that is possibly cutting your hand on it and getting tetnis

They just got some in after being on back order for a few months. Not a bad price either.
