2007.07 maps?

now this is bugging me, as far as i know i have the hacked ezrider and the enable_buildings=1 in my system text, now why is it that i don't have 3d buildings? i have all 3dc and 3dl files but buildings still wont show up,

 

hey borism, mind helping me out here, could you post your hacked ezrider here as well as the 3dc and 3dl file of chicago, just want to compare it with mine

N-S-E-W already posted the link... AFAIK there is only one hacked EZRider (since it was made once by one person). Not every license file works for buildings, though. I've posted an archive with a couple dozen of them somewhere here recently, and at least one of them works...

 

now i'm going nuts, i have the same ezrider from the download, i have the worldwide license, what the hell is wrong, kinda getting annoyed, any clue?

I got the 2008.04 maps downloaded. Now I just have to load them and see if they work. Fingers crossed : )

finally got it working, i read through some previous articles regarding the buildings and came across this

 

Mine had a problem with the worldwide license. J

 

Just yesterday I figured I'd try the license that was contained in the ir.zip from this download.

I now have buildings show on my unit as well as the pre-loaded landmarks. I simulated a route through downtown Chicago and there was literally hundreds of buildings showing. With that type of density of buildings showing, the button presses were noticeably slower to take effect. In a couple cases during simulation the the sheme turned to a all black background. Probably due to the speed of the simulation where the processor could not draw the image fast enough to keep.

Glad you got it working. The EZRider is the same as was posted here, licenses I did post, and my DATA.ZIP is in the progress report thread. Besides, I am up to my attachment allotment here anyway

That's too bad there's nothing there. Most everywhere I drive during the week there's nothing either. Only when I go downtown Chicago is when I see the buildings and that's only been about three, four times since I got the building showing on my unit.
