andr2000
we do not have a setting to switch it off now-- Might be a good idea? Is it really annoying? Or just because it is now, hm, not exactly correct? Any chance in the future of getting spoken speed cam warnings? Hm, not sure. The main advantage of this mod is its "simplicity".It has a lot of features, but it doesn't make a toy from the unit. I mean that on the navi screen you have only those features that are a must. This is also true for voice alerts as well

Ok I won't complain, will be nice to get the thing sorted out if possible. Thanks again for looking into this.  As for the Speed cam stuff, yea understand..
andr2000
ok, I'm going to add the following setting: Show turn restrictions: Never/Cruise/Always Never - do not show at all Cruise - while no active route is present, big icon (just like it is now) Always - I'll put a small icon on the top right corner of the cockpit frame if there is an active route. Otherwise a big one like in cruise mode

magna
Hi, Â everytime i tap the current speed on the left of the screen my f500 resets. It was the same with the 8.0 and is the same with 8.3. Â Is it just happening to me? Â what should I do? Â and second question how can I change the angle of the 3d display? I want to see a more narrow angle. It was possible with the original display by tapping the screen and changing the angle. Â Thanks for the really nice work..

There was no lower left screen tap on the 2.0 version of this mod that I remember, that is new for 3.0 to access the new trip computer screen stuff. You are running the 3.0 mod correct?  The only way to change the angle of the screen is to edit the sys.txt file
andr2000
1. reset - download and isntall digital.ttf - this will solve your problem - you can find it here 2. angle of the 3d display - take a look at the settings, tilt is there: Settings->Visual->Smart Zoom->Tilt up/down

Maybe Boris can put it on the first page.

N-S-E-W
How difficult would it be to add a route progress bar on the map with on/off settings? The prog bar used for the simulate route fits perfectly in between the house number boxes. Â I searched the gurjon skin for ideas since his had one, but it's causing me difficulty in implementing. If it's something that you don't you don't want to bother with I understand.
andr2000
...to add a route progress bar on the map...I searched the gurjon skin...  Can you please attach a screenshot of what you are talking about. I tried GJ skin to guess what do you mean, but I cannot see any progress in simulation mode. Then we'll decide if it is worth to be implemented  Thanks

Gurjon has a few options for progress indicators, I'm only looking to implement one. My preference is to use your indicator with the green dot. The settings is listed on page 2/3 in visual bar settings.  Thanks for taking a look.
andr2000
ok, now I see it. It can be implemented, but what is the rationale of having it?
