BorisM
I would like to know this too. Noticed this got uncommented. Can anyone say what the "DEM" files do? Looks like they go into CONTENT/DEM. Landscape data files. THat's what lets iGO show all the nice mountains and valleys when you're driving around. Unless you live in the Rockies, though, you won't see all that much with or without them...

The airman
Anyone still have a link to the torrent? The torrent is in post one at the bottom. It's contained in a .rar file and is called TeleAtlas.rar. Download it, expand it, there you'll find it. It worked for me.

oVerRateD
Will all these files fit on the F90BT? I noticed the MAP, DEM, and POI folders are about 300mb bigger then that from the 2009 package or should I only replace the POI and MAP files that I will be mainly using... I have the 2009 maps from the FX3.1 complete firmware update

No sound comes out when these are selected. any non TTS langs work fine. Would could be going wrong? i have recopied the scansoft files and the voice zip. is there a place that holds just the TTS files that could be corrupted? do these new maps not support TTS? jason.burnes
At the beginning of this topic "yeek" posted about having all of the content on his SD card. I'm trying to have the files in the CONTENT folder in two locations. Since the size of the maps update is too big for the 700bt I was going to put the POI folder on my SD card and everything else (that is suppose to go in the CONTENT folder) on the "My Flash Disk". I had found a post from BorisM that said using this line in sys.txt: [folders] secondary_root="iGo" would have the location- \Storage Card\iGo\Content\ - load content in addition to the -\My Flash Disk\APL2\iGo\Content- folder. Obviously I'm posting because I can't get it to work. Here's the layout of my directories for my sd card and flash disk: sd card: Storage Card\iGo\Content\POI\ (in here I have all the poi files, except Alabama poi file) flash disk: My Flash Disk\APL2\iGo\Content\MAP \DEM \(the other folders) \POI (only the Alabama poi file) My sys.txt file has the following: [folders] data="\My Flash Disk\User\UserData\iGo" secondary_root="iGo" tts_nuance="\My Flash Disk\APL2\iGo\ScanSoft\RealSpeakSolo" secondary_app="Storage Card/usericon,USB Disk/usericon" usb_trackexport_path="\USB Disk" storage_trackexport_path="\Storage Card" When I turn the 700bt on the only POIs I can see are in alabama. Do I need to create the rest of the folders (MAP, DEM, etc.) in Storage Card\iGo\Content? Does the variable "secondary_root" just assume it's on the sd card?

cigga24
what do i do with the canada.7z file?
cigga24
Guys i'm having a few issues and just reverted back to my CNSD100 status. 1. neither the NA nor USA DEM files would not copy, they would get to about 30 secs left then dissappear. I checked my space and flash disk has 212mb free while the largest DEM was 177mb. 2. can these maps coincide with the default maps, i.e i only remove and copy 5 states while leaving others as is? 3. are you guys copying all the maps but using select POI files? Harvey_Gordon
My question is: What are, or is, the Waters.rar file? ...and do we need it? Leaving it out will do what? Anything? Thanks for anyone who has the answer.
Dysan911
Wish I could say this worked for me. I checked over everything several times. I put on my SD Card a Folder for the one DEM file, I copied the new License and hacked EZRider.exe into a folder called iGO. I downloaded all the maps and POI's. I extracted them all into a POI and MAP folder. Ran out the car and booted up my SD Card. Deleted the Licenses and EZRider.exe. Deleted the contents of MAPS, POI and DEM. The only file I left in Maps was Basemap.fbl When I was done copying everything over I turned the key off, removed the SD Card and turned the key back on. The Nav would boot up and then a "Fatal Error" box would pop up but not actually show you what the error was and then it would Reboot and repeat. I tried copying everything twice, comparing file names and file sizes. NO GO!. I had to restore my backup files to get everything working again.. BUMMER!
shoman94
Here are the TA maps of 2010.06. The complete USA, Canada & Mexico Maps & Premium POI's files. The DEM for North America, Canada & USA are also with this pack. If you want them. All the maps are in there own state rars so just get the ones you need. Like the state you live in & around you if you travel. This will save time & space on your unit. IMPORTANT INFO The maps will only work if you have a cracked EZrider & a Generic License Code. (NOT INCLUDED NOW INCLUDED) If you don't have them, This update will not work on your unit. Use the maps at your own risk. UPDATE: I added the cracked EZRider.exe & License files. Please make sure you back-up your files before you copy over them. Tested on the Emulator & Still use at your own risk. Here is a link to the 2009 map how to install: Since the torrent seems to be dead. Here is a Direct Download to the TA 2010 Canada, Mexico & USA maps, POI & Dem Files.
