fotomkr
Can anyone recommend a good lightning extension cable. Bought one from China. Lasted about 3 months and then the tip just snapped off. I have heard about one called Cable Jive. Any thoughts? Thanks
Kura
I use cablejive dockxtender 6ft for carplay, appradio and charging. Works perfectly. Certified by apple.
mapotter99
I just used a standard USB extension cable plugged into my NEX. This is routed to my center console and comes up between the console and passenger seat. My lightning cable plugs in to this and works fine, even with CarPlay. I can also unplug the Lightning cable and plug in a USB thumb drive into the extension cable for firmware updates, USB music, etc.
DP3343
Can anyone recommend a good lightning extension cable. Bought one from China. Thanks If you want to extend the lightning cable in order to hide your HDMI adaptor, use the cable jive cable. Apple certified, great build quality, great price. If you are talking about just the lightning cable for carplay, all you need is a USB extension cable, like for example the one that comes with your NEX. No special cable for that is required. ksutterfield
Just to add, if you're looking for lightening cables, Amazon Basic cables are a good value. I have a standard USB extension run to a cubby in my car, and then I plug in a little 3 inch Amazon Basic's cable to reduce clutter. Works great!
