This is a great mod. I've loved having this installed since I upgraded to 3.0.

 

If I could make one very small very insignificant suggestion... could you change the word Opaque as used for your navigation backgrounds to translucent? Right now there is a choice of Opaque and Solid backgrounds (behind the turn arrow etc) but Opaque means solid where translucent means some shines through. Like I said, not really any big deal but I think it would make it more obvious to a newcomer to your mods.

Ha! You are right! LOL! Man I would have bet money it meant to let light through when in fact it means to not let light through. I will change it. )

Diaftia, AWESOME job. This really makes using my Avic a Hell of alot better. To update to 1/7/10 al i need to change is data folder??

If you are currently running my mods all you need is the data.zip from the main zip file.

There was A LOT of time putting that distance meter together. Its still not perfect. I hope to have the additional kinks worked out in the next release. If you move anything or resize any of those images it will have to be reworked. Buckle down and get ready to put some time in. Just be thankful you are not creating it from scratch!

Added a megaupload link in hopes to add more sources. Mediafire and Rapidshare seem to be having issues.

I love the split screen that you made on your latest mod.

I would like to put this on my modified data file (Andr2000/Stan 3.0). I copied over the codes from your mod to mine along with the bmps. I got an error message so then I copied over the scrips/states for the split screen from your common folder to mine and still have errors.

Can you give us step by step how we can make the split screen to work in other mods? You are a a great mentor and I have learned plenty from you. I would like to send you hard earned cash for your work!@

Don't worry, I know better than to change the image sizes. Everything is pretty much in tact

If you need free space the easiest way to do that is to delete the canada and/or mexico map files. By default you shouldn't need to free up space to run my mods though if you are stock. If you have some extra stuff in there like schemes or building files then you might need to.

EU version updated.

I think I did something wrong. It gets stuck in System Start Up with the Update System Settings window in the background.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Ok found bug in 2.2 EU version:

- numbers are not centered in speedsign in split screen mode

I already fixed it and Daftia will probably update the EU version download links soon.

If you have the bug as stated above download fixed version...

Just want to say this mod is awesome. I was wondering if there is anyway when you do your next update if you could add a signal and battery meter to the home screen for bluetooth connected phones. I had it it on a Pioneer CD player i had and i liked it. Figured everybody else would like that to. Thanks in advance if you can make it happen.

Has anyone asked for the speed warning scale to be changed form percentages to actual mph over the speed limit? How about on city streets vs highways?

Where I live, drivers regularly drive 9 - 14 mph over the speed limit on the highway, but i'd like to be warned differently if I'm say 4 mph over the speed limit in the city.

Just a small question. Is there anyway to change a spelling mistake of a street on the maps. I could really care less but my wife never shuts up about the one street that is misspelled.

I believe the streets and street names are done through the mapping software, in this case Teleatlas. We can't change that

Larger nav text on left.

How do we enable the larger text on the left. I have a 700bt if that makes any difference. Also i am not getting the mute and cancel nav buttons on the navigation screen like shown.

I would love to but there is no way to do that at this point. Those are all pioneer based polls for information. The only real thing known at this point is the BT status. If we figure it out I would be happy to add it as I think it would be useful.

Hmmm... I will look into it. I see your point. 10% of 65MPH is 6.5 MPH but still. Sucks to have to do math.
