Can you send me your sys.txt file? It appears you are from Prague. The default options will not support that country. I need to make some changes to my install script to support other countries.

If I put V3.2 I will loose italian language for the entire system (AV, NAV, FM ...)?

Yes, I turned on the speedcam option under warnings and did get the legal disclaimer. I also verfified that there is an alarm on the basic camera types. In addition, the speedcam volume along with master volume is also turned on under the volume settings.
I never tried the speedcam warnings on my device and was wondering if they even work on the F500.

Hi. I'm extremely new to all of this upgrade stuff. I recently installed firmware v2.009 to my f900bt which made an improvement on boot up time etc. After searching the net I came across your mod so have decided to give it a go. How long does it take to install? I have had 1 attempt at which I selected which version and country which installed after a couple of minutes. Then after a few minutes I did the reboot thing and now have no sat nav and keep getting the navgate bootup screen on the display, even though all the other functions still work. I also comitted the cardinal sin of not flashing the memory so I cant go back? Is there any hope for me or have I blown it for the sat nav function?
You need to make sure that you are running 3.0. That is the reason it is not working. Did you make a backup of the flash disk before you started modding? There are a lot of links out there to get the 3.0 files. Definitely get the files to update to 3.0 and once that is done run my installer again. You should be all set to go.
EDIT: Use this link to update to 3.0 and then after that is done copy all of my files to an SD card and boot off of that. Dont worry that this is for a 90. The files are the same.

I will look it over again but you seem to have issues that nobody else is having based on how your system is wired. Maybe his system is wired the same way.

You are also supposed to reposition a wire in the harness and then take that repositioned wire and ground it with the parking brake wire:

I wanted the sys.txt that you are running. Is this it? This says that the language and voice types are UK english:

If you are using the english speaking defaults for the EU then you should be able to use the EU option in the install script each time no problem.

Interesting. It appears so. If you are not sure you can always make a backup of things (all files or just files like the sys.txt) and revert back if it doesn't work the way you want. In my next version (release 3.2.1 which is mostly install script changes) its going to make a backup of the sys.txt so people can revert back if needed.

The only thing non-standard I did was to add 3d car feature in sys.txt and data.zip. Just to be sure, I replaced them with yours, but still no luck.

Is the device type set correctly at the top? Also, can you make sure that the speedcam_enabled=1 flag is set? (both in sys.txt). Other than that you could try clearing the save files and see if that clears it up. I have seen stranger things happen. 
The code is working so its either a mis config in the sys.txt on my part or something 500 specific.
Other than that we need to see if there is another F500 user that knows of something specific that needs to be done. I would be happy to include any changes that need to happen if that is the case. I know that IDT has an F500. You might need to start a thread if all else fails to see if people can chime in.

I got it anyway - only in Czech language .... and except for a few things that are not translated it works ....

My next version (which I am going to release shortly) is going to let you install the mods without a sys.txt. It should make updating easy for you.

Yes, the device type was set to 749UC and speedcam_enabled=1 in sys.txt. I 'am not sure what you mean by flag is set in both? Which other file should I check? I know I did delete the save files because the intial location was shown in LA, till I got the GPS fix.
Also, when I press the Extr1 Menu->POI Menu->Saved POI Search, it simply returns to the map screen. However, when I go through Find Menu->POI->Saved Search, it works as expected. Is this feature tested or is it just me?

Added an image.res file into my distribution to make it so that the AVIC settings look how I want. All cosmetic but adds some better buttons and images and makes things look nicer.
Do you have screenshots of your changed buttons and images?

Its all pretty subtile. Based a lot on the cmh changes. The main buttons are the same but there is a pioneer logo at the bottom. From there its small stuff to make it look better. Nothing drastic. Also, all the grayed out av source buttons (CD, Sirius, XM, SDCard, etc) are now in color just dimmed a bit.
Easiest thing to do is go in and rename your image.res file image.old. Then start my installer. If you don't like it then just delete mine and change it back. I tend to go subtile on changes so if you are looking for something drastic mine is not it.
