Hello again, I update you on the status of things.
I ran the update, adding to the whole folder with the TTS "ITI" for Italian.
I state that with the previous update (to 2012) I have lost the function of the TTS.
However, I want to say that the update has been successful, but that there is no Italian language TTS!

How can I restore it?
I forgot .... I have a F30BT.

Hello again. Have download again update and this time it request me for update. Everything was ok until after update I choose Factory reset. Now when I turn on the unit, it ask me set a  password. When I choose it  can't enter any symbol, the "keyboard" is not active?

Try to run the update again, I had no problem after update and othe people don't have any issues with this update.

Reupdate your device, you had pioneerus on your device and a lot of this rubbish still on your device, I don't know how to run a format on your device, but I think if you update again (without factory reset) after updating it will work for you. If not, please ask pioneerus how to remove the password.

Now the Italian language TTS works well as before and I rediscovered the functionality of the voice recognition that after upgrading, 2012, did not work

I formated the card one more time, I unrar with winrar and now worked.

It's all in english but work!!!

I have an hard disk plugged with usb 

use "DriveSort" from Anerty's Lair to sort alphabeticaly a fat file system usb drive...  it does the job.

Please do a full format and not a quick format on your SD-CARD. This is very important to do this way. Maybe using Total commander to copy the files will be better than copy and paste. Just try that and let me know.

You have to copy the whole files and replace the two files from the first post to fit your device

Look at your device at the botton on the left hand side, you'll finde the Type of your Device if you have F20, F30 or F40.

For F920, F930 at the top on the left hand side under the Eject botton.

ich denke schon, das Gerät ist Baugleich mit dem F940BT nur mit DAB Funktion. Kannst probieren.

Step by step full update without any problems. All works fine at AVIC- F40BT.
Voice commands in Polish language is in the upgrade installation package. You do not need to upload the TTSData_PLP.
