My guess is that when you initially relocated the yellow/black wire it wasn't seated in the harness fully and eventually lost contact and the bypass stopped working. Which would explain why moving that wire back to it's original location did nothing. You can do one of two things. 1 - Move that yellow/black wire back to the proper bypass position and make sure it is seated in the wiring harness properly 2 - Do the software bypass instead, which does not require relocation of that yellow/black wire. Chances are that when you relocated the mute wire pin on the AV harness that you didn't have it seated in the harness properly so it isn't making contact.

No, the D3 does not support dual zone. What plays on the unit is what plays on rear monitor output.

It's a CD drive. There would be no reason that Pioneer would spend the extra money to install DVD drives in the units just to pay the coders even more money to alter the software to make it read only CD's.

Well you need to go to a torrent site, like Pirate bay, Torrentportal (I find this one very nice), Azureus, isohunt, etc. and type in what you are looking for. You will have multiple results, but it will show you which files are the most popular (most active seeders) as well as view user comments/flags about the content of the files if anyone has left them. And yes, with torrents most times if you are looking for an album it can be downloaded as a folder/zip file containing the whole album. The difference between a Limewire type system and a torrent system is information and availability. On limewire, you do a search, and a bunch of results come up, and you gamble on which one is the one you want or whether or not it is a good file or not. With a torrent system, you have a much broader range of places to find available downloads. Also, on the sites that host the torrent links, users can leave comments about the contents of the files for future users to help them know what is in the download and if it's any good or not. It's easier, safer, and a lot of times faster.

Well if you think of it as a metaphor, that's kind of how a torrent works. Bits and pieces of the file are downloaded from all the other users seeding the torrent on their computers and it combines them on your end... and just like when it rains, the water comes down in many small drops, but if you catch them all it will eventually form a pool of water.

My F90 came with the ipod cable inside the box with all the other wiring for the radio... It clearly states on Pioneer's website that the F90 comes with the ipod cable. Are you sure you got the F90 and not the F900? Because the ipod cable doesn't come with the F900.

you'd only notice in like, a tunnel. where you have no signal. so unless you have a tunnel nearby, you won't be able to tell. Also if you are driving on a road that goes through a wooded area, you might lose signal.

The VSS wire is not necessary but does help the nav work more accurately. The F series units do not have the vehicle dynamics display (speedometer, accelerometer, lateral G's, etc.) like the D series does, though.
