  1. Good! Condi will only brick your device if you don't know what you are doing. You don't need condi for anything. You only need supertestmode key. condi is a tool ONLY for tech savvy people to use to explore the capability of their units. It has and will create a brick out of your unit.
  2. Turn off x930 and car. put supertestmode key on sd card and insert into x930 turn on power and it should boot to the test mode. from there you can follow the rest of the steps for finding your password. If condi has broken your x930, there's a thread somewhere about recovering but it's hit or miss with some people. Hopefully your x930 will be fine once you find and use the password. Search around and read the password recovery threads. If you had searched around and fully read any thread about condi, you would have eventually read that you should never have used it.
  3. fillko, do not use condi you only need super testmode key on a blank sd card to find the password. do not use condi you are posting about an X in the F forums. do not use condi look for helpful stuff HERE X930 and X9310 are the same. The password recovery for X930 thread says to use condi, but you only need the supertestmode key. do not use condi
  4. If you bought your 930 aftermarket, then somebody gave you a free sd card. It is likely not needed unless there's something wrong with your unit that requires the sd card to boot it into operation. If your unit works without it, you are good to go with a free sd card.
  5. Your best bet is to to try an update using the latest HERE.
  6. I had this sd card error and it was all in how I unzipped and created the sd card. What ended up working for me was the full sd card format to fat32 with purposely selecing the 16k allocation unit size I also unzipped the zip file to my pc desktop with winrar and then individually copied to the microSD card, the FIRMWARE folder first and then the Update folder next and finally the correct CardInfo.cif file.
  7. I went ahead and used your file and made a new zip.
  8. Sure, but I thought it was just the 2 files that were needed.
  9. nataliabea9 do not use this tool for recovering your password or doing anything with it... ever. for password recovery you only need the testmode on an empty sd card here: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/32929-x930bt-password-recovery/?p=335762 then continue with the password recovery instructions.
  10. 2015 Maps CIF DAT.zip These are for: AVIC-Z130BT AVIC-X930BT AVIC-X9310BT AVIC-Z140BH AVIC-X940BT
  11. Just stop! Don't use any version of condi hack. All you need is the testmode key to get in and find your password: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/35253-advanced-puzzles-testmodekey-scriptexecini/&do=findComment&comment=255788
  12. I would guess your password is either BOTTOM or BOTTOMB one post says to look in USER not NAND Also, use TXT DMP to view the file.
  13. the sd card is a sticky issue. sometimes you get lucky and it works and sometimes you just have to specifically do a full format to fat32 with the 16k allocation unit size specifically selected. if you have to unzip anything, unzip to a folder on your computer and then do a copy to the sd card. an older 4gb card might work better than a new high capacity card. hope this works for you.
  14. Please don't use condi's hackmode stuff. It can go bad real fast with its use. You don't need it. You only need the supertestmode here: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/35253-advanced-puzzles-testmodekey-scriptexecini/&do=findComment&comment=255788 Boot with just the testmode file on the sd card. You need to make sure there is no power to the unit first... put the sd card in and then turn on the ignition for power. It should boot to the developer menu. It should be easy to navigate to the password file and determine what the password is. a. Grab the test mode files and l
  15. I don't think you can use usb for that... you have to use micro sd
  16. Where did you "see" available 2015 map updates?
  17. Try specifically setting the 16k allocation unit size when formatting to fat32. Additionally, I have had issues using the larger size sd cards. Try and find an older ~4gb sd card.
  18. Once the map update is complete, you have to manually navigate the screen menu to the bluetooth section and select the update option from there. it should find it on the sd card and update.

  21. Hmm, my update went fine. I didn't have any problems updating bluetooth. Is your parking brake on? Do you have other sources connected using cables etc? Remove them and try again. Since I didn't have a problem, I'm not sure what your issue might be.
