  1. What's the text on the radio, it's difficult to make out, have you tried anyone else's iPod/iPhone?
  2. Don't think so. that small adapter is for charging and audio only afaik http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/36258-iphone-5-with-appradio-2-frequently-asked-questions/
  3. I don't think the iPhone4 can output to hdmi even with an adapter it's only for charging or best case audio? The CD-IU201N was shipped in the box with my app radio
  4. What do you mean fed? Via HDMI using a standard HDMI cable and an Apple HDMI to Lightning adapter If you mean Touch input, it's sent the same way as with any phone, bluetooth. There is a sticky on this http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/36258-iphone-5-with-appradio-2-frequently-asked-questions/
  5. I have no idea why you'd need that cable, the AR2 has HDMI on the rear of it, Pioneer seem to have an awful habit of listing cables for units that they are not needed for. Like I said all you need is a standard HDMI cable and an Apple HDMI to lightning adapter to run an iPhone 5/5S/5C with App Radio 2
  6. I'd be pretty pissed off if I bought an AR3 as its notlong out, I've an AR2 myself, if they even updated ARLive a bit more often and got some of the major apps on board like google maps, spotify, YouTube, etc, or just allowed full touch control like unchained and extensions do
  7. Now all we have to do is buy the new radios and trust that Pioneer now do regular updates to support new phones/firmwares every year, no thanks!
  8. Do you have location information/services enabled for the pioneer app-radio app?
  9. Not sure about the App radio 1 but he app radio 2 needs the Bluetooth to pass the touch controls so the bluetooth will be being used by the 7.1.2 phone
  10. Yes, But.................. you wont be able to use the radio for answering calls, I've been thinking of just installing a parrot kit and using a hdmi android stick with appradio unleashed tethered to my phone as a solution.
  11. I thought I read in another thread when you use the onscreen keyboard in an app, example waze the app will crash. Pioneer sent out a list of apps with the problem last week appradio appradio live waze ectouch carbrowser dashcommand extramile beej parkopedia
  12. Yea if you've a 6 plus a decent mount would be sufficient once there was an input on the radio
  13. you need to have dpkg-deb installed. If an IOS developer appears to have abandoned the project its probably safe to say any of us without any IOS/cydia app experience are not going to be able to do much. I think the biggest issue with the project was the touch input being passed to the iPhone. They've done it on ARUnchained and I believe there is a new build of that which completely ditches Pioneers app so there is hope there if the systems are similar?
  14. pricey alright, I assume it has to be the wifi unit as the bluetooth will be in use with the radio already
  15. The app creators site http://www.palmerperformance.com/hardware/index.php
  16. If another one works but yours just shows black screen then it looks like faulty headunit, bring it back to where you bought it?
  17. That version doesn't work with AppRadio extensions. You need to uninstall it and install the version linked a page or 2 back.
  18. You need to go into settings on the radio and connection settings and pick digital AV for the ipod function to work which in turn will stop your 5s working
  19. Landscape Lock can be selected in the Settings-AppRadio Extensions. What version of AppRadio App are you using, it must be 2.5.0 or lower(linked a page or 2 back)
