at -30 I think you have more problems then a cold radio. Does you car have a heater???

I had major problems with my Lan-02, had to send it back now my system works fine. Everytime I started the truck I had a different problem with the lan.

I priced out: Avic D3, BTB200, GEX-P920, CD-i200 cable adn the Boyo BU camera around the net. For the premium of about 50 bucks (Crutchfield was higher) I get one supplier with great service and knowledgeable, American based staff. Seems worth it to me. YOU CANT INTERNET SHOP FOR SHIZZZZ I got my set-up for 300 less then Crutchfield right here in Texas. Crutchfeild SWORE a D3 wouldnt fit in my truck. To each his own. Crutchfeild 949.... Get this, the retailer I got the interface from is going to switch it out for frieght charges, which is fair. Then they want me to pay to ship it from his warehouse to Metra. No way that will happen!!

Called Metra and that was not the recalled unit. I have to take it to the installer to get a replacment unit.

in my stereo adventures, today you crank it to 40 just to hear it, and no chime.

Ok its crackling now 6 out of 10 starts. No radio when it does it just a crackling.If I restart it sometimes works fine. Any ideas????

Metra. I just went out to the truck. Fired it up, and the stereo crackled allitle then shut down??? I killed the truck fired it up and it worked fine???? I think I shook something loose in the interface. Its DAMN crowded behind that stereo!!!

OK I started the truck this morning and everything is fine. Back to normal. What the hell happened???

I had my D3 installed (by a 411 members shop) couple weeks ago in my 07 Silverado w/bose. It worked fine till I went to hook up my back-up camera last night. Now I have half the volume, but the camera works fine. I looked and looked to see if anything got disconnected but cant see anything. I'm sure it has something to do with the GM04 interface but what???

Let me throw this out. I want to mount a Boyo rearview camera on my boat trailer. Do you think it would last one trip down the boat ramp???? Is it submersible camera?

Sounds like you just need to buy a midget to hold your Nokia 810 and tell you which way to go then run behind the car when you are backing up.

I have the samething happening. It was adjusted many times. Either it onstar volume is low and the turn signal dinger is OK. Or the onstar volume is normal and the turn signal dinger will blow you out of the cab.

Will an outside company make a copy for you? like Kinko's? I know copyright problems come into play. Wondering if anyone has had this done?

incase i wasnt clear, i paid $100 including all parts (Wire harness + double dim shell thingy) well props to you..woulda loved to get it installed for $50 lol so basically i ended up paying $100 for install $270 installed for a viper 560xv http://www.viper.com/Products/Product.a ... ductID=106 but i today im calling, going to get $50 back on the viper, getting the remote start for nothing extra, otherwise im threatening chargeback for everything, letter to corp, and complaint to BBB I supplied all my hardware and paid 425 for the install. you sir got ripped, even BB only
