I was thinking about upgrading my Z1 (with Z3 HDD upgrade) to the Z110. My biggest question is the HDD, from what I have read this has been replaced with a flash card. Will the unit still rip CDs to the flash card, or does it all have to be done via computer? I really like the idea of the MSN Direct option, but I have never used it. Has anyone else used MSN Direct? and your thoughts on it. Is the Sirius interface still just a single line display? And will my SIR-PNR2 still work or do I need to get the CB-SB10?

That's great, I am very happy; most of Calgary currently on the Z1 is "insufficient data for route guidance in this area"

I didn't get a blue cleaning cloth either. But I bought a small screen cleaner from Futureshop (like BestBuy). It's just like the cloths that come with sunglasses, only $3 CDN, works great.

Why hasn't Pioneer release a new Gracenote update? It has almost been 7 months. I emailed Pioneer and got a reply saying someone will contact me blah blah blah, but nothing happened. Current Version number: 06-01-0020 Date released: June 8th, 2006 Unless I can't add 6 months to June, it should have been released on December 8th.

Looks great! I wish the Sirius screen would show two lines of information.

Here is a pic of the service screen, pretty simple. Like I said before, use the Track left and right buttons to change menus. AV is always BACK. T is always ENTER. the rest should be pretty simple since they are listed at the button. I really need to clean my screen.

I got in! 1. Open the face. 2. Hold Eject. 3. Press Reset 4. Once screen says "Push Reset button or Restart Engine" release eject button. LEAVE THE TOUCH SCREEN OPEN! It took me a while because it allows you to enter 8 buttons before it stops beeping, but by pushing th AV button would make a sound after the beeps stopped. The AV button acts as the backspace button, so if you enter the code wrong, just hit the AV button until it stops beeping and start over. If you closed the touch screen simply push the AV button (should only beep once since it only has to clear the one input

Here is a great how-to for replacing the head unit on the mach system. Remember you will need bass blockers for your tweeters. I may be wrong, but I thought the short answer is: When going through a tunnel or in an other areas where the GPS signal is lost (like around tall buildings or trees) It can still, somewhat, continue tracking which roads you're on and the turns you make without an interruption. Using the VSS and other sensors that Ducatiboy mentioned to determine position... And after reading Ducatiboy's post again I [b][i]think[/i][/b] this is what he was getting at.

You can buy the Speed Camera POI update from TeleAtlas, it is not supplied by Pioneer. I read the satellite radio news quite a bit (mostly Sirius) and have read a few articles about Sirius Satellite Video on [url=http://www.orbitcast.com]orbitcast.com[/url] and some posts on the [url=http://www.siriusbackstage.com]SiriusBackstage[/url] forum. After reading a post about some discount TV tuners on this forum it got me thinking, and I am hoping that Sirius/Pioneer offers a TV tuner for the Z1 that will pick up the Sirius Satellite Video. I think its an extremely long shot since it seems that XM and Pioneer are in bed together (XM NavTraffic, Inno and the graphical XM interfac

So when does your 'test' unit go up for sale or raffled? If it is a raffle, I am in for sure.

Also, maybe an option for a larger Hard Drive. The HD should come preloaded with all the operating, map and gracenote partitions, as well as 30GB+ of space for my music. I think this would be great if they open up the ability to have MP3s copied to the HD.
