  1. Full sreen cockpit takes out the small box in the bottom left for the destiation info. It comes back when the unit turn off however.
  2. That is a possibility, but what are the odds of that happening with multiple cables like he said he tried?
  3. Okay, now I know why I have never realized that was a clock, it is 3 hours off. How do you set it? I have looked through the manual and all the screens and if I just missed it then I's a dumy. Any help would be good. and thanks catch edit: Also has anyone made it bigger or moved it yet? I think it would mean, from reading posts, hacking the executable files, but has anyone done it yet? No problem. You can adjust the time zone in GPS and navi settings. As of date, that clock can not be enlarged, only the color can be changed. The way that clock works is instead of it being an act
  4. Yep. You'll probably have to have it repaired regardless, but in the meantime its an effective alternative if it works.
  5. If possible it would be easier to make the foreground transparent. It'd be a pain to try and match up the 2 pictures, no? Also I've tried making the foreground transparent, but on the avic it only comes out white, what settings do you have to save the .bmps as to keep the transparency?
  6. I havent had a chance to install it due to my car being at the dealership, But I will be happier with the 90. I bought it mainly for the Hi-volt preouts, so the MSN Direct and DVD player are nice plus's for me. Plus my dash piece is glossy so the matte finish never matched nicely.
  7. I just bought a 90 after selling the 700. IMO it's the best unit I've ever owned, and I had a Z3 before the F series. Yes there are bugs here and there, but so much good outweighs the bad. The bluetooth is a hit or miss depending on your phone, personally mine works perfect, the Voice commands work perfect, the resolution is great, very user friendly, and the best part about it is it's customizable like sundance said. No other radio on the market can be hacked like this one. I'd buy it if I were you.
  8. Well, what exactly are you trying to accomplish with the camera? Are you trying to put videos on the screen? Are you trying to do a picture slideshow of some sort? Also make sure there isn't a video out setting of some kind on the camera, like on iPods.
  9. I have an LG Env and I don't get the prompts. If there isn't one already, I think we need a thread for phones that do and do not get the Text alert.
  10. "How hard is it to do?" ??? I'm sorry, but if you are using a translator, your wording is too literal to your language and it is hard to understand it in english terms so I'm trying to translate your responses.
  11. I'm sorry, it's difficult to understand what you wrote. Did you buy a US F700BT and would like to know if it's possible to make it work with European maps?
  12. It sounds like a defective unit. If this problem only occurs with the iPod, and you tried multiple cables and iPods, all with the same problem, then the problem lies in the radio. Have you tried plugging it in from the front and using AV2?
  13. LOL so true. To the OP, you can answer that question better than anyone else. The 900 has a glossy finish, a DVD player, and MSN direct. The 700 does not. So ask youself, would you like a glossy or matte finish? Would you use MSN direct? Will you use the DVD player? If so then get the 900, if not then get the 700. There's really no need to pay extra for features you won't use, ya know?
  14. not on movies Did he say movies or the AV interfaces?
  15. Spending 10 minutes learning the unit and skimming through the provided settings will shed a lot of light for you. The VR options are in AV settings. amazing that the manual would hold that information. wow Amazing you didn't take 10 minutes out of your day to read it.
  16. No. What you do at this point is you put the radio down, go back into your home, grab your keys, and drive to an audio shop. Seriously dude you're not even following the simplist instructions ever created.
  17. ?? There's a light blue clock in the top left portion of the AV interfaces.
  18. Spending 10 minutes learning the unit and skimming through the provided settings will shed a lot of light for you. The VR options are in AV settings.
  19. The F series already uses Parrot software for the bluetooth so what are you trying to change?
  20. You can not change the size of the AV clock. In the AV, the numbers are all .bmp images and are in the common subfolder of the Image.res. You can change their color in photoshop or paint but the size is the same. I've tampered with them. Sorry if I misread, but you do realize there are clocks on the UI's?
  21. up one, over 4. More info can be found in the FAQ section. This is why we have it ya know,
  22. So you'd rather have just a missing spot for XM? That'd just look stupid, but it's your unit...
  23. You'll mess up the X and Y if you edit the size. Just take your idea and make it work with the provided sizes.
  24. This is a stupid question, but you didn't make any mention of it....did you change AV2 to video?
  25. You're gonna need an SDHC card and the FAQ section .......and also the 'search' button............... Hi Catch Lol whats' up Stig
