  1. I had CMH mod on mine, and I went straight to 3.0 with no problems. Just follow the instructions and BE PATIENT.

    peace out.

    Thanks Cmh928!! Amazing work.
  3. http://www.uploadjockey.com/download/34 ... part13.rar Hope this works.
  4. Try finding the XM antenna cable. And follow the cable to the tuner...? May take a while.
  5. On a 2007 Entourage: VSS = White/Black at Diagnostic Connector, Pin 6 Reverse lights = Red @ Rear Accessory Module (Rear Drivers Side, behind Panel) Hope this helps, good luck.
  6. Good call. How long does it take for the amp to cut out? Does it stay off for a bit and then come back on, or is it back on right away when the volume gets turned down? Will it play forever on 29, but cut out once it hits 30? Where is the amp, is there anything resting on top of it that could cause it to heat up more? How old and beaten up (abused) are the subs? Is it only when a hard/heavy bass note hits?
  7. Change to the Apple Ipod cable. I had a similar problem, but changed the cable and the problem has gone away.
  8. Wouldn't they ship the product with instructions?
  9. I agree about the amp possibly clipping, the gains may need to be adjusted down. Also, the amp may be over heating and going into thermal protection.
  10. According to other posts in the forum, no. But your F90 will be more accurate if you do.
  11. On the 2007 Equinox the VSS is Dk. Green/ White at the ABS module, Pin #3. Reverse is Lt. Green at drivers Running Board/ Door Sill. It may be the same for the 2005. Good luck. Hope this may help.
  12. VSS is Yellow/Blue at PCM. I have no info for the reverse wire. Sorry.
  13. I have the Touch Diamond (not Pro), I just updated the ROM last night. Today when the phone connected I had no issues, contacts and all (Home, Mobile and Work). The AVIC was still set up for the phone, and all I had to do was re-accept it. I had to use Jetware on my PPC-6700, but didn't need it on this new phone.
  14. But it isn't the ipod "cable", it was the Pioneer harness with the white plug. For me anyways.
  15. rough translation... hello if you please, if you please, tell me how i make "something" my pioneer avic f700bt? i bought a US version and I am in France. how can i put the europe maps on the AVIC F700BT help me help me if you please. I have barely spoken french since 1994, sorry for the rough translation.
  16. Check the plug on the back of the deck. My bet is that one of the RCA input pins has pulled out slightly. Same thing that happened to me.
  17. Mine automatically shows up, but only on the phone settings screen.
  18. VSS = Yellow at the ECM under the hood. Connector 2 Pin 18 All the wire colors "should" match up with the AVIC Harness. Read the instructions that came with the GMos-04 to see what each wire is supposed to do...
  19. One model of car, one radio. Unlike Pioneer who is making one radio for over 5000 different makes, models, years, thousands of cellphones, with different bluetooth stacks. Too many variables to predict how it will react. Of course the auto manufacturer can make a product work, they have a more controlled scenario. And then include Microsoft Windows....yikes.
  20. Not sure about where you guys live, but I wasn't able to "test drive" my F90 before I bought it. I had to special order it, and am pretty sure I may have been the first one here to get one. I saw the commercial online and I bought it. I like to think that I am familiar with electronics, so if something isn't working the way it is supposed to I google it. (Yes google is a verb.) I found this forum, and now I have all this wonderful info at my fingertips. Even before I installed 2.0 my F90 wasn't working poorly. Keep in mind how many variables there are in car audio. Speaker placement
  21. I dont remember the part numbers but it went really easy and smooth. I didn't do the steering wheel controls, I heard it didn't work very well and they were coming out with a new version soon.
  22. Did you also reconnect the shielding? On an FM antenna it acts as a ground. Also make sure none of the shielding is touching the center wire.
  23. Is it a display in your instrument cluster that shows the station? Since the factory radio isn't hooked up anymore, it may not be possible to change it.
