  1. You know... it would probably be helpful to Tele-Atlas if you went on there website and gave them the updates for the maps. http://mapinsight.teleatlas.com/mapfeedback/index.php
  2. Same for me except I loaded Alcohal120% and didn't change any settings. I used a Memorex DVD+R DL with my NEC Burner...... I will also check the specified features people complained about tomorrow morning and post my results.
  3. Is there a free software that will bur this ISO? Thanks, Jason
  4. In Navi mode... press menu then settings tab.... Demo Mode is listed there.... set it to off. But it does sound like a learning problem ... have you tried to reset the sensors and such again?
  5. I believe there is an option in one of the settings that turn that on or off.... I think if you turn the unit off.... through the menu it's off but the car is still on..... then press menu... you have a function button i believe that has that option in there....
  6. I feel the same way... i just may purchase them if they are 120 or less... They should allow us to download them for even cheaper.... Like Garmin does..... 80 bucks
  7. How about using a scuffing pads to give it a dull finish?
  8. You might as well get a top of the line Panasonic since they are going to be making Pioneers panels from now on....
  9. How do I reset the calibration? At the menu that shows your calibration mode of simple hybrid or 3d hybrid.... there is a clear button next to it to press....
  10. Sounds like there are still alot of issues.... C'mon Pioneer!!!!
  11. Have you tried doing a reset on the calibration and maybe on the unit....?? I ran with my VSS unhooked for a while and had no issues
  12. Yea!! I just saw that.... horse shit!!

  18. Yea..... already known.... this July...
  19. April 07 --> July 08... = 15months.... = dumb
  20. The 2008 update disk is gonna be available in July... it is noted on Pioneer's website when looking at the 2007 update DVD's.... 1/2 way thru the year..... dumb
  21. Unreal how behind pioneer is isn't it....
  22. Yea, it's pretty annoying.... since they updated the D1 quicker and seemed more supportive..... Thats the reason why I bought my D3. Not sure if I will buy another Pioneer..... I still like them for the money and it works well for me. Even though Nav takes longer routes at times but it always gets me there when I have no idea how to get there...... well I shouldn't say always.... as it does have some address errors and addresses missing. They need to get an update out now... I mean were almost half way through 2008!
  23. All that metal plate does is allow you to stick the antenna on a non -metallic part....like the plastic dash. It doesn't effect reception.
  24. I've had streets that have been there for the last 10 to 15 years not show up on this nav.... I've seen them named wrong.... I've seen the house numbers go in the wrong direction..... to tell you the truth.... I'm not sure why TeleAtlas is so far behind.
